Grip it and rip it
Love this thing! I’ll set out in my kayak, grip a brand over the water and cast!

Works well but started rusting after the first use
This is a great solution for anchoring a kayak while exploring. It’ll latch on to just about anything and the teeth are sharp. However, we went fresh water kayaking (some brackish as well) with it and the rivets are already rusting after a single day of use. For that reason, I can’t give it a great score.

Great product, really helped keep my Jackson kayak steady
Took my fishing kayak out yesterday and had to deal with 11mph winds, this grip worked perfect. I have a Jackson Cuda HD (110 + pounds fully loaded), and this helped me keep steady next to some of the smaller stumps and logs I encountered. I love the fact that this opens up more that other brands I've seen here on Amazon. I like this so much, I logged on and had to purchase a 2nd one today for my girlfriend!

Difficult to use
I’m sure this would be a good product if I could actually get it set up successfully the instructions do you no justice getting the chord through is the stupidest part. If purchasing this product set it up the day before DONT get stuck in the sun for 30 minutes trying to set this up.

it works
this thing works, as advertised. To be honest it was an impulse buy.... I know how to tie knots... I don't really know how much i'm going to use it.
