These are my go to filters for watering plants. I did eventually manage to crack one, but it was years old and had been dropped many times, so they stand up relatively well to use.

My plants are green instead of looking sick and leaves always yellow....No More!!

This filter effectively removes that vast majority of chlorine and chloramines from your water. Very important if you are using city water on your plants and beds.Chlorine is BAD for plants, and kills beneficial bacteria in the soil. Adding this to your water hose (standard fittings) will remove the chlorine and you can water your plants and flowers without the fear of killing them, and/or the microbes that keep them healthy. This particular filter from Camco is more affordable than many other similar on the market, but at a price.This unit will probably need replacement more often than other filters, and many have found it completely effective only up to around 1000 gallons before needing to be changed. At double the price, there are excellent filters that will filter 30,000 gallons before replacement. That being said, if you don't have a large garden, and only have minimal watering requirements, then save your money and buy this one! It Works!

I've noticed a big difference in using this and other Ramco filters within my vegetable gardens. My plants are flourishing since I started using these filters. The plants are not struggling with the harsh chemicals in the water so they can absorb the nutrients I feed them to make them produce greater yields. I look at other peoples gardens in the community garden where I garden and their plants are struggling where mine are flourishing. I don't have the diseases, the burning on the ends of the leaves and the low productivity I used to have before the filters.

So far, so good with this. It was very easy to install and I can already tell that my plants are loving being watered with my garden hose attached to it. I ran a small experiment where I solely watered my garden and other trees/plants with this attached to the hose. A few weeks later, I turned on my sprinklers. Within a day, I started getting spots on my tomato plants leaves. I turned off the sprinklers for a few days and just watered with the GardenPure Water Filter and my plants once again started looking much more healthy.I am so please with the results that I am going to purchase another one for my front yard and contact my plumber to see if he can hook a filter up to my sprinkler system.I would also like to mention that there is no leaking coming from the filter. I have it directly attached to a 4-way bib attachment and the other end goes to my garden hose. Because there are absolutely no leaks, I just leave my faucet bib on and grab the hose and water anytime I want to.Soon, I will be installing a drip system for my plant beds and may see if I can use a splitter on the other end of the filter...one for the hose and the other for the drip system. It’s better than cheaper ones but I wish there was a product that could take the hard water we have in AZ out or at least minimizes it . Product works well but not much help if you have hard water .

We have REALLY hard water here in the desert southwest. Many plants don't do well with it, I suspect it was the cause of my mom's tomato plants failing (all the supplements & additives she tried, and the big issue was something that needed removing- chloramine in the municipal water, related to bleach, kills the beneficial bacteria in the soil).I got her one of these filters for her remaining garden plants (her roses are improving) and one for me to water my geraniums, which are doing well.The filter easily fits on the outside faucet; the fitting is sturdy plastic (like the rest of the canister) so take care not to overtighten over the brass. The hose then attaches to the end of the filter, which sticks out about a foot further from the faucet. I bought spare rubber washers in case I needed them.

Worth it!!!! Only buying this brand filter. Make sure to flush it before use, need too!

Amazing filter. Used for my plants all summer and never had an issue. Chlorine smell disapears and seems to help retain all natural benificial microbes in soil. Must have for organoc gardens or just to have better quality water in general!
