It Starts with Us: the highly anticipated sequel to IT ENDS WITH US

It was good but not like It Ends With Us (this was expected as the author said it would be lighter).

After I read 'It Ends With Us', I was left wanting to know what would happen between Lily & Atlas as well as how Ryle would affect their potential relationship. This book takes both Lily & Atlas and does a really good job of not only portraying them both as the protagonists, but takes the reader on their journey. The only reason I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 is that the ending is a bit of a let down. Yes it's somewhat heartwarming, but I would really liked to have seen Lily's perspective as well

Having loved the first book I was eager to start the second, but life got in the way and have only just joined the party.Though the story line isn’t a jaw dropping one, it’s REAL, and I loved this.It’s what happens to real people in real difficult situations. Therefore, it’s gripping.The writing was lovely, even if I did find a few editing errors, but on the whole, it was captivating.I’m a sucker for a happy ending and this had it in spades. I have to say, even though I love Atlas and Lily, I enjoyed Theo and Josh tremendously. They were fantastic additions to the story. They remind me of my brats!All in all, this was a beautiful read.

I loved getting to read more about Atlas! It ended quite quick though and although the story was great I would of loved for something more to happen with Ryle or hear more about what happened to him.

I’d of given it 5 stars but the ended just kind of ended. But other than that it was perfect!

If you’re looking for an easy read (and have already read it ends with us) this is great.It’s something you don’t need to think about to be able to read, the storyline is good and follows on nicely from the first book.

What can i say,yet another great read, im hooked on Colleen Hoover books now slowly making my through them all.

It was great to read the continued story of Lily and the men in her life. It was just as good as ‘It Ends with Us’. Highly recommended.
