The Art of War

I'm Reading it and loving it. Its the first book recommendation made by my friend. I'll recommend it to others.

Good short read for military tactics to be used in a war, but it is very old. Astonished that it still survives to this day, some of the advice is actually timeless. Perhaps an adaption of the book to the modern corporate world would be a good idea.

I like about the strategy that they have used but I didn't understand the names .Sometimes,it was confusing whether they are talking about a person or place.

Based on the war tactics of China one should know

Value for money.Easy to carry.Light weight.

Great book. The commentary however is a mixed bag for me. Sun Tzu talks about how to win a war in the battlefield which the commentator tries to apply to the daily life of an individual. This is done arguably forcibly in some instances which made little sense to me. Other than that, great book, great cover design, great packaging and delivery.

This book is a metaphor about how to tackle problems in your life. The narrator, Usha Munshi's choice of words are excellent. If you are not a reader but want to be, then this can be the first step.

A perfect read and gift for anyone looking to get ahead in life. The teachings are ancient but still relevant to this day. If you like the book I suggest you learn the game GO (It's an ancient Chinese game better than chess)

Look, why read this? Why does this book get touted so widely? What's it got that a bit of common sense won't provide? Not much unless you're fighting a war in China hundreds of years in the past which is unlikely because no one has invented time travel. Sun Tzu makes clear that stupidity is dangerous in your generals and you should pay attention to weather, land, men. Most people don't need to read this book for that type of information. Nor do they need to read it to develop business strategies or planting guides for next years bulbs. It doesn't live up to its reputation.

This is a timeless classic relevant to all areas conflict and negotiation. If you're having trouble at work - read this and understand how to out manoeuvre. A simple read.

This is NOT the book. And Can't return it because they ask me to go to the mail and I don't have the time. I'm very disappointed.

At long last I took time out to read this book. And why oh why did I leave it so long. A great book and I believe very relevant to surviving in today’s business world

Arrived damaged and had to return item as it was a gift, but I managed to fine a more attractive hard back version of this book anyway so im glad I didn't have to gift this one
