Not a strong unit to pick up large things, but it works for snall objects, wish i had purchased a larger reacher that could grasp larger things farther away.

I bought this for my Grandmother. She uses it with ease and says it is very lightweight. It works great to pick up paper and anything else she drops.

This grabber is so cheap and flimsy I could hardly pick up anything. The lock to keep it from folding in half never worked. I am not sure what there are even suction cups on the ends as they do not come together to form a nice grip. This ended up in my trash can the next day. Spend a little it more and get a heavy duty one!

Don't like that it folds in half its kinda unstable & it doesn't pick up things that are like 1lbs or 2lbs so it's not for people that collect cans & bottles because it's not strong enough ... it's my belief that it is cheaply made ... go figure it's inexpensive ...

This is my second one I have bought of the same kind. I am elderly and use it quite often . The previous one I had lasted a few years . I like the suction cups on it and they can pick up the smallest particles. Am pleased with this .

so far so good. i've had this item for about a week and a half and it does what it says it will do in the item description. it seems sturdy enough, folds and unfolds easily and grips securely. it's actually longer than I thought it was going to be but that can be a plus also. all in all it's a good product. not great but good. As always I will update my review if things change with this or any item I have purchased from Amazon.11/18/21This is an addendum to my review above. After having and using this item for a while it has become apparent that it does have a significant design flaw: the small cups that hold onto the object you are trying to "grab" are hard plastic. they do not always form a reliable hold on the object especially if that object is hard plastic also. i have another grabber of this type that has softer, more pliable cups that form a more reliable hold onto an object than this one does.

I have reachers in every room in my house, even one in my car (foldable). The best tools I ever bought! Love them!!!

I own a deluxe Gopher, and decided i needed a couple more. I ordered 2 of these hoping they were as well made as the one i have. WRONG. They are cheaply made, the joint where it folds is very loose. So any thing that has any weight when you pick it up its very unsteady. Im hoping super glueing it together will help.If your buying try to find the original Gopher deluxe.

This can be used to reach any size ,shape of object .very handy to have for sure. I am very short so it is great.
