The buttons are large enough for a large dogs paws. Easy to put batteries in, even comes w a small screw driver in case you need it. The voice recording is pleasant and not annoying. So far training is going well and easy.

I introduced the Dad button to my dog and pressed it a few times and pointed to my husband's chair he is always in, and she picked it up rigjt away! She presses it all of the time asking where dad is and then hits the play button.

They work well. Unfortunately my dog shows no interest in them at all.

I have seen many videos online of people training their dogs to “talk” with buttons like these and saw this listing come up on Amazon and ordered two packs to give them a try. Within a day, both of my dogs got the hang of learning how to press the buttons, but my older male dog seems to be most “talkative”, while my younger female dog really only presses them when prompted. But I believe that’s probably just due to their dynamic, since my male dog is always the one to let me know when he wants something, and his little sis just reaps the benefits of all his hard work, hahaha.My boy’s favorite button is the water button, which I keep upstairs (because apparently upstairs water tastes the best 😜) and he is very vocal with this button! So much so that I think he actually broke or damaged it early on, and even when batteries were replaced, did not produce sound. I contacted customer support and they were able to send a replacement water button right away and I cannot thank them enough, because that is obviously going to be the most important button for two dogs living in a desert climate! Or any climate really, heheh. The alternative before getting these buttons was him just whacking his dog bowl around, sometimes hitting it into inconvenient places, such as under the bathroom vanity, and I have to go get a yardstick to scoot it back out haha.He also will use his food button for when he is hungry without overusing it, which is great. And if the doggy door is closed, or door to the dog crate is closed (which is next to the doggy door), he will hit his “outside” button. Although I do think he gets it confused with his food button because sometimes he will hit “outside” when what he really wants is food hahaha.All in all my dogs may not perfectly use and understand all of the buttons, but I still think it was well worth the money for the “water” and “outside” buttons alone! We also have “play”, “walk”, “toy” and they don’t typically hit those unprompted, but you best believe if you accidentally hit the “walk” button, they’ll get quite excited since they know that word well!If you’re on the fence, I think you should definitely try them, you might be surprised that an old dog can in fact learn a new trick- seeing as how my older dog is the one doing all the talking with these buttons! 😂 They are great fun, and actually super useful, since I can hear the buttons from a decent distance, as long as nothing else in the house is too loud to drown it out. I can even hear it while on a different floor of the house. I’m very happy with this purchase, it has become a very useful tool that my dog was able to learn very quickly.
