Bought to do some carving on handle. Looks rustic but still functional. Had to sharpen blade myself. Otherwise neat piece.

Axe head is loose and steel is cracked. Came without an edge on it. Also did not come with sheath. Handle is too light like it is made of dressed up particle board. Honestly it is cool looking trash. Wouldn’t swing it at anything.

The first one I received the handle had beautiful wood grain there was a small tree knot with a crack at the business\blade end of the handle. Unacceptable, but return was flawless and received a new one. The wood grain was not as aesthetically pleasing but wood is random, and it had no knots so cannot complain. Good value for price, nice size, good heft for splitting kindling, but defo NOT a splitting axe for chopping wood. I have lots of experience with those tasks.

I bought this because my wife and I are getting gotten into hiking and it's light weight and the length of the handle allows me to have a solid chopper that I can carry while saving weight overall weight I can carry. This allowed me to carry an axe vs carrying a machete as my chopping tool. It took less than 10 minutes to get the edge I wanted on the blade. The price on this was very good. Will probably but another as a gift.

Came fast and looks nice but for the low price I have low expectation. Blade is dull and when I say dull I mean an 1/8” flat on the cutting edge. Head wobbles a fraction on the wood handle, so I’m not sure if it would fly off?Handle wood is solid and looks nice, seems strong. Maybe with some sharpening and addressing the handle wedge it could be a nice axe? We shall see.

Because it is mass manufacture item and very low price it will be necessary to put some work in to it if cleaned up and sharpened it will do carving tasks well.. it will also perform axe tasks very satisfactorily. It's light and carries easily. Good addition to any kit.

Who ever heard of sending an axe without any type of edge on it ?? Great paperweight though.. Blade is very loose from handle... Overall cheap junk....

I do not recommend this product I bought it cause I needed it and the price was ok it arrived early but the axe head was loose so I opted for a replacement which was delivered quickly but on the 3rd swing the axe head flew off thankfully I was not injured considering it was aiming for my skull so now I'm going for a refund wish me luck no refund till they receive it and one no longer has axe head attached

Le tiene uno que sacar filo no sé si se romperá. La cabeza del hacha está floja no ajusta correctamente al mango. El diseño está bien a secas. Dice que viene de china pero el hacha en la cabeza dice que está hecha en la India., Entonces de dónde es???

El mango se soltó sin siquiera usarla. Hice la devolución sin inconvenientes.
