This book is an absolute must for every student and practitioner of Vedic Astrology. Some very important yet often ignored topics have been covered in great depth.The first part of the book gives a fabulous explanation of the Bhava kundali. All your doubts regarding whether and when to use the Sripati method or other methods of creating the Bhava Kundali will be put to rest.Part 2 explains the Baladi, Jagrutadi, Lajjitadi etc. Avasthas in elaborate detail. Part 3 deals with the ignored topic of Aprakashagrahas, Gulika, Mandi, etc with examples. I know of no other book in English that explains the predictive utility of the Upagrahas. The author has painstakingly culled from the classics and shared their placements in different houses. This is a very important information that many people will get a view of for the first time. Adequate attention has been given to the elaboration of the Pranapada as well.The last part gives a detailed exposition of the principles set out in the Yogakaraka section of BPHS along with the helpful hints provided regarding the same in Bhavartha Ratnakar. Greedy as I am, I hope that the author had incorporated more follow-up material of this style of predictive analysis as other shared in the Laghu Parashari to make this a more complete section. But I do understand that might have disturbed the flow of the book.Overall, I strongly recommend this treasure trove to be added to the collection of every serious student and practitioner of Vedic Astrology.
