I am using this book and the program it describes in my practice with ODD teen and pre-teen clients. It is helpful. The worksheets are included in the back for easy copying and teens respond well so far to the ones I've presented. Although this approach is recommended as a evidence-based way to treat teens with ODD, it seems to be geared more to adults. Some of the expectations are beyond the reach of my clients, some of whom have ADHD as well. It is the only highly-rated evidence-based program I could find (it's to be done in conjunction with Parent Management Training) that is suitable for use in a private practice setting. So I'm glad to have it and am adapting it as best I can to my clients.

Not a good fit for PCBH in our setting.
Good read, very helpful for practice, and like assignments. Doesn't seem a good fit for BHPC setting with only having 2-4 consultations.

Clear and easy to understand
Great ideas and strategies for when you know you are unable to have many sessions with a client and need to just focus on target symptoms/behaviors.

Truly helps with implementing therapy approach in treatment
Book is clear in describing the premises of the approach, populations that can be served along with clear methods for implementing in treatment settings. Has been helpful in my work with veterans.

Buy Another Latte
My suggestions for this book: (1) Dr. Nezu, et al, should fire their editor. They might profit from reading the treatment manuals written by Dr. Greenberg and Padesky; (2) Those considering this work may benefit from reading my critique of Dr. Nezu's "Cognitive-Behavior Case Formulation," then buy another latte.
