I love it!
Item arrived on time and undamaged from its long postal journey.A beautiful model, good size and looks pretty cool. Holds up well, I wish I could find the Hero XL Voyager to put it along-side but this will do for now.Cheers, I hope they release more XL HERO Collection for Trek Starships, I'm not a fan of the current Trek models.

Amazing accuracy.
The amazing details on this item makes it an amazing addition to any star trek fan. It's a good size for displaying and makes for a great conversational piece. Details are very good and accurate to the shows depictions. This item would also make an amazing gift.

A few seams need filling, but otherwise a nicely constructed replica.
The USS Equinox doesn't have an extensive library of appearances, showing up in only two episodes of ST:VOY. The ship is nicely designed and has a number of similarities to Voyager in terms of overall design. This is an unlit model that is heavier in weight than it would be were it a plastic home-built model. It comes with a nice looking felt-bottomed stand and clear plastic holder. The decals are nicely applied and properly aligned, and the overall color scheme matches that seen in the show. There's also a very well illustrated descriptive booklet included in the box. There are a few places where clear colored plastic would have been a preferable choice to the painted material, but otherwise I have only one gripe: There are a few places where you'll probably want to smooth out the seams. This can be accomplished with some modeling putty and touch-up paint. Cost is a little steeper than it would be were this to be a home-built plastic model, but once you account for time and paint (and recognize that there are no plastic models of the Equinox available), you're in good shape.

Surprising scale
The color is a fair bit different than I'd have expected, but I'm still pretty happy with it. There's a lot of detail in the design of the ship and markings. Couldn't find any obvious mistakes with it to correct. Makes a pretty nice display model

Very large model, but doesn't feel as solid as other ships
The size of this replica model is large compared to the model of Enterprise-D, Discovery, or even DS9. That being said, it doesn't feel as solid as the other models. With this model, they used more plastic than metal. The weight and feel of the replica feels more like a toy than a collectors piece. The quality is not good compared to the other models as you can see in the picture of the split of the nacelle. At this time, I'm torn if I should return because the price I paid was very good.

Outstanding model passing magazine
This is the Xl model of Eaglemoss standard issue #15 U.S.S. Equinox. This model is very large when compared with other Xl . This is much bigger than the Reliant and Akira and Nebula xl models. The Xl Oberth is around the same size. The paint and surface details are done really well. My only issue is the deflector like the standard issue is still painted. However it does not look as bad like some of the other models. The magazine is more about the episode in which the ship was in. I do recommend picking this one up. As this is one of the best models Eaglemoss has put out in a while
