D'Holder Remember The Alamo 1836 Commemorative Fixed Blade Hunting Bowie Knife Limited Edition

As an amateur-historian I have a modest collection of books, memorabilia, artifacts etc. I became enamored as but a kid watching/reading the classics with my Parents and on special 'movie-nights' whereby we would all gather around the 'TV Set' which back in the 70's was a large focal-point-like appliance housed in a very large attractive oak-cabinet but I digress...One of the iconic movies I recall as vividly today as some forty years ago now is John Wayne's epic "The Alamo' of which he starred as Davy Crockett and Richard Widmark as Jim Bowie--instantly I was hooked and to this day collect historical Bowie Knives and, hence, my interests in this particular offering. Make no mistake in that this knife in no way even remotely resembles the look or feel of the actual knife carried by Jim Bowie at the Alamo. On the contrary, it's a much smaller and entirely different designed knife meant to symbolically offer a commemorative inscribed piece paying tribute to the Legend that is The Alamo. It's a quality item that fits the bill perfectly for what it is and, thus, I definitely recommend accordingly.
