I purchased despite the other reviews saying the slide-grip doesn't grip the cinch strings. Wish I hadn't becuase it's true! They are useless, even the slightest tug and the slider moves. The material lip of the crown interior is too short and poorly stitched, so instead of folding up into the hat, it flops down on your forehead (looks bad, feels weird). The crown is deep, which is great for big heads like mine--but it's almost TOO deep, making it hard to see. This wouldn't be a problem if the cinch string stayed put--but the sliders are cheap and don't keep it cinched, so it slides down over my forehead too far. The brim is very wide--love it! Unfortunately, the hat ships folded (unecessarily) in quarters, so the brim has permanent kinks which are at 90 degrees to where the snaps are to fold the brim up (poor planning?). It WILL keep me dry if it rains and keep the sun off my face, but the fit isn't good due to the poor quality of the sliders, so I'll probably return it. It's a shame because otherwise it's a pretty good rain/sun hat, especially for the price.

This is the best hat we have purchased for three of my family members - they love it. My sister is enjoying her new hat during the Texas heat. The quality is amazing. Great purchase.

I suffer from rosecea. I go out in the sun all of the time which makes it worse. This hat is perfect for preventing that. I really like it.

Widest brim hat I’ve had. But sides are flexible and button up if needed. Like the string to make the head part smaller. Overall, a great hat.

A good product

Wearing the hat this week in FL. When I first grabbed the hat to put it on, the strap that helps keep it on your head or behind your neck when taken off it simply fell right out of the hat.
