This is the second turtle I have bought. Lights up brightly, lasts most of the night, very cute. The colors do fade so I spray with clear outdoor protective spray before winter.

I ordered this and the first one came broken. I'm sure it was damaged during shipping as there were pieces rattling around the inside and, after following the directions of use, the unit would never turn on. I contacted customer service, and they sent out a replacement unit 2 days later. Great customer service and quick turn around on getting the issue taken care of. The product works as described and looks great in my garden.

UPDATESo, I placed this in my garden on Monday, soon after it arrived. For four nights nothing...zip, nada, zilch. Tonight, Friday, with a smooth Pinot in hand, I go out on the patio to relax with Chloe the neighbor's cat, who often stops by at twilight for a visit before heading home, and what to my wondering eyes should appear...eight tiny sparkling lights on the back of the snail!!!! So...considering this development in adorableness, I must upgrade my review to 5 stars!!!!Well, I'm giving this two stars for cuteness and minus three for not working.—at night, that is. The tiny lights work just fine during the day, when the sun is out; but, alas, once dusk sets in, sadly, the lights go out. Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I was under the impression it was suppose to be the other way around. Despite this paradox, however, it looks adorable in the garden, so I'll keep it.

Bought as a birthday present for my friend who has a beautiful garden. Last year bought The red snail and And this year the green snail. She loves them!

This is so cute and such great quality!

It arrived quickly so always appreciate that; nothing beats near instant gratification. The figurine itself is sizeable as in pretty big. Definitely not snail sized but I like that as it looks great sitting with the flower pots on the front porch. The lights are a warm bright color. Much brighter than I had expected. It's nice to have a bit of light on the front porch without keeping the overhead light on and contributing to the light pollution. I am very pleased.

2 stars for cuteness. It is adorable and is nice size. However like another reviewer, it only works during the day¿? Hu?? Yep that's right, lights up in the middle of the day and gos out come dusk... I don't understand how that is happening but -3 stars for not working properly. Edit: the company got right back to me and has offered to ship out a new one! 5 star for company service... Will update on product when it arrives! UPDATE: company delivered as promised! Now I have a cute functioning snail 100% 5 stars!!

It is really cute but be aware that if you place it outside in the weather it definitely loses its shine and the colours fade. This is my third time trying to post this review.
