My absolute favorite manufacturer of sun hoodies has always been AFTCO, but this lower priced option may take that title ($25 vs $40). Fits GREAT (XL, 5'11" 210#), and weighs only 35 grams more than my AFTCO Samurai Hoodies. However, this shirt includes a built in gaiter, so the weights are essentially equal. Breathes very well, and best of all the hood is cut just like the AFTCO....oversized! It fits perfectly over the brim of a ball cap so it doesn't blow off in the wind. The thumb holes are a welcome addition with the fabric covering my hands to the knuckles. The built in gaiter isn't tight but fits snugly enough to prevent it from slipping and also doesn't restrict my breathing. The pocket on the right side is a welcome bonus and is the perfect size to fit a large phone (iPhone 13 Pro Max) in a Lifeproof case.

I really like this shirt. 6'1", 220lbs. Got XL. The shirt is a bit baggy on me, which I expected. The sleeves are just barely long enough for me. If I put my thumbs through the holes, the sleeves are stretched at all times, especially if reaching. The sleeves would need to be at least 3 1/2" (9cm) longer for it to work right for me.The hood is great. It's just big enough that I can pull it over a hat. The mask works well, and the elastic band around the top does a good job keeping it in place.

i bought this for my boyfriend who worked installing solar panels over the summer. he never got sunburnt and didn’t tan when he wore this (being on a hot roof on a sunny day, that’s a feat!). it was lightweight enough that it worked for high temperatures.overall it was good quality and didn’t fall apart even though it was being put through the ringer.

This shirt is AMAZING. At least for me it went exactly the size it says (use the table), some brands run smaller (specially oriental ones) but I think this is true to the size it advertises. It's fresh, it doesn't stink as soon as you start sweating like other shirts I own do (it has good ventilation under the armpits) and the buff added is a great touch and awesome when practicing outdoor sports (I like fishing and kayaking)Also the sun protection it has seems to be good, I spent 3 days using it under the sun and I didn't get a sunburn so, it's a 5 stars shirt for me, specially because of the price vs for example a very expensive Columbia. I can't say anything about the wear resistance but time will tell and I'll update this review if something else happens.

I'm wearing it right now as I'm reviewing, and let me tell you it's just right wearing under my favorite sweater and it helps!

Overall the fit is fine, but for 6'+ tall guys the sleeves are too short if you want to use the thumbholes.

Me gusto mucho. La eh usado por más de 5 horas y verdaderamente si protege de los rayos de sol. Lo unico es la capucha, no trae como afianzarla a tu cabeza y eso ocasiona que el viento te destape y es algo incomodo estar agarrandola y reacomodandola; tal vez porque es para pesca y yo la agarro para senderismo.
