Great product
All the books came in a single case. The books are very lightweight so it’s easy to read them

Nice collection
Got for the wife as she's a huge fan - turns out the books actually aren't in order so she went online and found somewhere which listed the proper order - I think she was looking for chronological - to put them in.Paper quality and binding is good and the "case" is solid enough - definitely a good present for anyone who's a fan of the series.

I love this book series!
This book set contains all the Witcher books. I wanted to get it after reading the first book from the library. It's definitely a great series, but it can be a tough read for some individuals due to the writing style. If you're able to get past that, you'll definitely enjoy the entire series! The books themselves look great, and they fit right in on the book shelf.

Brilliant and rewarding
A fantastic tale in a fantastic world, very cleverly written. There is humour, pathos and moral ambiguity. It rewards careful reading. There are many lovely oblique references to the real world that are not made obvious, you just need to know. For example: the joke about novice sorcerers being careful to not teaching brooms to carry water, a clear reference to Disney’s Sorcerer’s Apprentice; or the paraphrase of the Duke of Wellington’s (alleged) statement at Waterloo “Give me night or give me Blucher”. I just wonder how many of these I missed. But that is on the lighter side, and is necessary to balance the emotional challenge elsewhere. The first two books are a series of short stories that set the scene, introduces many of the main characters and so creates the world in which the main story is set. And what a story! Spread over five books the story unfolds in great detail, the main characters come alive and the locations described can be visualised almost to the point of being able the smell them. The last book is a prequel and as such is intended to be read last, though after completing the main story I needed some time to reflect before starting on it, such was the power of the story and the ambiguous fate of the main characters.Edit: Having now finished the sequel (Season of Storms) I think in might be best read as the third of the eight, rather than the last.

As described
Books seemed to go missing on delivery. The tracking number provided might not have been the correct one. Books arrived in a timely manner though. Was a present so can’t comment on if they’re a good story or not
