Handy if you need to secure a door. Unless my cat can learn how to pop the latch, we're gold!
Only drawback on using w/a louvered door, was placement w/enough flat space to place- it was either across the top of the door, or, as we placed it, just above the knob on the door

Mine was junk
I didn't even get the second screw in and the cross bar fell to the floor. I tried everything to get it to stay in but failed. I ended up drilling a hole through the center of it and running a screw through it to get it to work. So now it's a bit ugly on my freshly redone armoire.
