2G in the USA is shutting down, so you wont be able to use this most of the time.
Don't buy to use for emergencies in the USA, as most major networks have shut down their 2G service or will be doing so very soon. I just discovered that my AT&T wireless started shutting down 2G a year ago, so I returned the mini phone this week. Cute conversation piece that you can't really use. My S3 Apple Watch has LTE, and it's smaller, so it will have to suffice in case I ever forget my phone or it breaks/dies.
