cats like the taste!
We were suggested Nulo by our vet to feed to our cat that has been having gastrointestinal issues.... We tried this pate Nulo and she and our other cats seem to like it just fine! It's a bit pricier but they also finish the food so that's a bonus! Our cat with gastrointestinal issues seems to be improving with medication and Nulo as part of her meal plan.

Good job NULO
First premium cat food all my cats first liked all together that seems to not cause any one of them any tummy issues. NULO is the new choice of cat food in this household!

Our 5 indoor cats have done really well on Nulo food, but...
We switched all our indoor cats to Nulo wet and dry cat food around 6 months ago and after only a month started seeing changes in their appearance. Their coats were getting glossier. They were healthier...That said, it's only a 4* review because though our cats are healthier on this food, they don't care for the taste of it and I'm constantly having to throw food away they refuse to eat. Nulo only have a limited range of flavors and I haven't yet found one that all our cats enjoy. There are never empty plates left!

Nulo canned cat food.
Cats love it. The cans are a great size. Not too big, so they eat the can in one feeding. No vomiting, stools are not loose. They look forward to the twice daily wet food.

Anticipation led to disappointment with this Nulo pate canned food
I should start out that I really don't like doing reviews on cat or dog food. Why? Because just like humans, animals have tastes and preferences. Just because a particular animal may not like a specific food product, that doesn't mean that others won't either. The same holds true for vice versa.Having said that, I was looking forward to getting this Nulo pate canned cat food. Up to this point, my cats have been hooked on both Applaws and Reveal cans of cat food for close to a year low - mainly because these brands feature food that has textures and tastes similar to human food.Recently, I decided that I wanted to give them something different for a change in the event they grow tired of the two brands I mentioned above. So I decided to purchase a variety of different brands to see what my cats would prefer (or not). So when I saw this Nulo pate brand, I jumped at the opportunity to try it. I liked the advertisement information, and the photos of what the food looked like had me thinking that my cats would probably enjoy it.Unfortunately, it wasn't to be. What all 5 of our cats did when I first opened a few cans of Nulo pate canned food was to polish off maybe 25% of the can, and nothing more. They would nibble on this pate for a bit and then just walk away. And I found that unusual since my cats tend to finish everything we usually lay out for them (that they like, that is). So over the next several days I laid out the Nulo pate food again - and the results varied. Some days our cats wouldn't even go near it, while on other days they would nibble with just a few bites, and then walk away. When I realized that my cats weren't too crazy about the Nulo pate food, I gave the batch to my neighbor who also has several indoor cats. Whenever I have food that my cats may not like, I wind up giving it to my neighbor to try and she does the same thing with us. Many times the neighbors cats will like the food I give them, so that ends the story. However, to my surprise, a week later, my neighbor called me to see if I wanted the Nulo pate cat food back because their cats did not take a liking to the brand - again, go figure? The only cats that ate all of the Nulo pate cat food were outdoor feral cats (and raccoons) that we feed on our rear patio since we live next to the woods. They will inhale everything we put outside. But as far as our indoor cats (and our neighbor's cats) were concerned, their reactions to the Nulo pate food were mixed. So the moral of the story is that we were really looking forward to trying this Nulo pate canned cat food, but a variety of cats (ours and the neighbors) didn't care for the taste of this brand. So, it is what it is and all I can do is report and review on what we've tried.

High quality food
Got the chicken flavor. Looks and smells the closest to shredded chicken for human consumption I have ever come across. My cats didn't care for it but that doesn't mean it's not a good quality product.Cats are just picky and fickle. They may love it a month from now.

Beware of whole chickpea skin
My 2.5-month-old kittens love the taste of this pate (The chicken & duck gravy gave them diarrhea). However, one of them vomited violently and I was shocked to find pieces of whole chickpea skin in the vomit. Those were not digestible for them. I try to pick out the pieces from the can when I feed them but it's just too difficult and not worth the risk. I'll be returning the cans.

Great products! Wet and dry cat food
I ordered this Nulo wet cat food in small cans (mixed variety)! this morning along with the Pro Plan by Purina (chicken and rice) 7 lb bag, both were delivered in the pm, thank you for the quick service. She loves the dry, have purchased other allergen Pro Plan, this one she likes the best. With the wet Nulo, I like to switch it up for her, never beef. Go with poultry and seafood only. Her stomach is sensitive and with both these foods, she never throws up. It was all trial and error. She is a very tiny 12 year old calico. Thank you for two wonderful products! And super quick delivery.
