We rented a house and the ceiling fan remote was so old and barely worked even with new batteries. This replacement was a bit different looking than the original Harbor Breeze remote but as soon as we set the pins and put the batteries in, it worked perfectly. So nice to not have to push the button over and over to get the remote to work anymore.

It fit

I wanted an additional remote control for my Hampton Bay fan. The description/listing said it was compatible. After purchase, it failed to work. I called Amazon support, but they could only be so helpful. Called the company support ph. # on the back of the remote, the (snarky) CSR said, "that number is only for order support." He ended up suggesting I return it. I did. Make sure frequencies match your fan unit, whatever you purchase.

I am quite satisfied with the quality and performance of this Anderic Replacement Remote for my Harbor Breeze ceiling fan. My original one broke and my husband purchased a different one. It works ok, but I wanted another one so we could have one by the couch and one mounted on the wall. I used this one for the wall as it is not beige like my old one and the other replacement. It is much whiter and looks more modern and goes better with our updates. It was super simple to set to work with the ceiling fan. Simply open the back, set the dip switches to match the other one, close it and you are good to go. It also came with the battery. I would highly recommend this remote a replacement!

Works great. I had to replace the Receiver unit in the fan. The original unit and remote did not have the slide switches. The new Receiver unit had the slide switches.....so I had to buy a new remote also. They did not work.......Instructions do not tell you to push the reset switch. That paired the units and it works like a champ.

this thing worked great. I was a bit concerned due to the comments in the reviews about pairing with the fan. No it didn't come with instructions but it was no problem at all, something readily and easily found online both in written and youtube video form though I guess I'll give it 4 VS 5 due to lack of instructions

The correct remote for my fan but I'm having a hard time getting it to work. It only works if I put the battery in part way. If I put the battery in all the way it won't work.

Totally thrilled! I have a older harbor breeze ceiling fan. This model does not have a pull chain.The remote broke and without it the fan was basically useless.Went to Lowe’s and they said they didn’t have a replacement and I would have to replace the whole transmitter or buy a new fan. This remote was shaped the same and had 4 toggles however the numbers did not match on the back.My numbers were CHQ720271.Can’t believe it but for $20 I now have a remote that works!Couldn’t be happier that I took the chance and ordered it and no major replacements needed’
