Perfect thru-axle mount
I recently got a new road bike, which has disc brakes. I didn't even think about how to mount it to my truck until after I bought it (old bike had standard rim brakes and fork dropouts). After hunting around extensively, found various adapters, etc. This one is so simple! It mounted easily to the bed of my truck, and holds the bike far more securely than the old fork mount I had on my old bike. So easy to use. I love it! Highly recommended for anyone considering how to mount a thru-axle bike to a truck/vehicle. Make sure you measure your axle/fork diameter and spacing, to ensure you get the right one. Luckily I have a micrometer, so I could verify the diameter of my axle (mine is 12 mm).

Affordable fatbike mount.
This mount was exactly what I needed. I had built a fork mount roof rack for my fatbike out of an old Thule rack. I originally used a sunlite fatbike fork mount, but after the nut fell off that mount and not being able to buy a new one, I had to replace the whole unit.I bought the 135mm X 9mm fork mount. This fits fatbike forks with 135mm spacing with quick release. I have. 2014 Specialized fatboy and it fits perfect. It won't fit through axle forks like the Bluto which are 150mm X 15mm. This mount does not come with a 135mm skewer, so you can either buy an extra, or use the one from your wheel. The rear wheels of most mountain bikes is 135mm so they are pretty common and affordable. The fork rests on two short metal tubes the same size as your axle, and just like your axle the skewer goes through the metal tubes to anchor your fork to the mount. This design is ingenious. There has been mention of misalignment in other reviews, mine did not have that problem. If the skewer falls off or someone steals it, you only have to replace the skewer and not the whole unit. This mount is good quality and should last awhile.

Unit is not tall enough!
If you mount the unit up higher than the rear wheel the unit may not work. I mounted this on top of the tool box for my truck. The front fork is going to sit on the top of the box and the rear wheel in the truck bed. The shape of the brake caliper prevents me from using the fork up since the caliper hits the top of the tool box. If they had only made the mount 10mm taller it would work. Will work with some brakes just not on the bike I bought it for. I am just going make a metal spacer to put under the fork mount so that it will be tall enough.

Works Well
I've bolted this to a board and put velcro on the bottom of the board to mount my bike upright in my Jeep. Works well.

QA missed mine, but still works.
Works perfectly on the 80/20 roof rack I've got. Image is definitely wrong, but it works well none the less. Only docking 1 star because it's a bit hard to get the thru axle through the mount... Mine must be slighly bent or something. Still works.

Frankenstein with Yakima for an awesome rack
I will throw up some pictures soon. I installed this to my Yakima Core Bars through 2 39H Mightymounts. In the back, I ordered ForkChop rear tray assembly (8880754), and it's sick! So far this is the only solution to mounting a 20mm axle at the fork without one of those ugly adapters. Also, cheaper. I am going to loop my kevlar cable through the rear wheel/swingarm for security.

An inexpensive solution that is reliable...
I decided to buy this and make it a "permanent" mount in my truck bed. I got tired of dragging the bike rack out for the truck bed. I am happy with this mount. It's a solid design. I would recommend buying some good stainless hardware to mount this to your truck bed.

Well made and sturdy
I ordered two because they are economically priced and get good reviews. I was a little surprised how well they are manufactured. The paint is nicely done and the dimensions work perfectly. They work perfectly to hold my road and gravel bikes.
