Looks Great but Seams Tearable
Tried it on straight out of the box. Put each hand in a front pocket and the pockets came right off. THE FREAKING POCKETS CAME OFF. Listen up Viking, I'm a Quality Engineer by vocation. If you would like to discuss my consulting rates I will gladly entertain the idea of helping ya'll to get on track. Based on just these reviews alone you should have enough data points to begin implementing corrective actions. Remember: corrective actions should be time bound, measurable, target a specific deficiency and or error, and validated for effectiveness prior to closure. No charge to you for that Quality 101 lesson, consider it a gift. Now, how about you gift me a freaking vest that is properly constructed?!

NOT A VIKING VEST!
The vest I received was not a Viking vest. It held up for longer than my other vests, but was shredded, ripped, and the reflective tape lost its... well, reflective-ness.For what I’ve seen from my crew mates’ actual Viking vests, this one is nowhere near the quality. Whereas my crew mates’ vests have lasted two years without shredding/ripping/etc, this vest is going into the garbage after 4 months. Longer than my previous vests, but much shorter than the life I expected it to live. You will not be receiving a Viking vest! Do not buy this product!

Construction High Visibility Vest
The product is 100% heavy duty, thick so be four warned, if your working in FR clothing. The sizes are off by 2 I think. I got a LG and XLG, and the LG fits like A Ned and the XLG fits like a LG. Go 2-3 sizes bigger than you normally wear if this is your most outermost garmet, I have to return them for 2 XLG, I’m not a big or chubby guy either. The quality is great , has many pockets outside n inside. But order 2 times bigger

Seems and stitching are coming apart.
I liked everything about this vest when I received it. But since using & wearing it, the vest stitching is coming apart. One of the upper outer pocket has ripped open and I don't use that pocket. I guess because I use the one above, it affected the stitching. I have numerous velcro closures coming apart and not hold in place. I'll try to post pictures later on. I'm upset that it has turned out this way since I was so impressed at 1st sight. You never know!

Items run way to small
Sizing is way off, have never had another vest not fit no matter the brand but this one.Quality is good but who wants to go thru the trouble of having to return things when it should be listed as “runs small”

Sizing is one size smaller as material is not stretchy. Not worth what it costs.
A little small but lots of pockets and very comfortable. Will review durability at a later date. Looking forward to a lot of use out of this!Update: Durability is very poor, only had this for 6 months and all the stitching is coming undone and the pockets are ripping off. I received this quick considering COVID but was it worth it? I would have prefered to get it later if more effort was put into it. Overall, not impressed with this product. I won't be recommending this to anyone.

Sizing is reasonable
I wear a medium shirt, large hoodie, and ordered an XL vest after reading that this fit small. I should have probably gone with the large - this fits fairly loose over a shirt, and would still be a bit loose over a hoodie. Quality is good, not great. It's not highly durable fabric, but the quality is much better than basic vests and won't snag or rip easily. I'm happy with it.

Overpriced for what it is.
The material is quite low grade and the stitching will not last long.Velcro doesn't last too long either. Is not a vest for heavy duty but it does the job.But IT'S NOT worth the 41 plus dollars that is advertised for.

Higher standard needed
When you buy a product from a reputable company, there is an assumption of quality. In this circumstance that assumption was totally misguided. When the vest arrived the velcro was already coming off so I glued it back on. On the first field use, the main lower pocket almost fell off completely. I returned the vest and bought the Pioneer cotton duck one as a replacement. I should have paid the money for quality from the beginning. It is disappointing to me that Viking does not hold themselves to a higher standard of quality. This product flys in the face of the reputation the company has built. I am not angry with the company just disappointed in the product.

Poor sewing quality
Tried a pioneer brand and sent back as sewing issues were visible through plastic wrap. This brand (Viking open road) is not as bad, but still poor. It’s clear it will not hold up. Worn once and fraying. Nice pocket space and fit but not worth $35 to need to replace soon.... Dissappointing
