I have only used the large rose tip but I like but it uses a lot of frosting one standard Wilton decorator frosting recipe only covers a dozen cupcakes with this tip where as that recipe usually covers 2 dozen

These tips are HUGE. The larger rose shaped tip would almost completely cover a cupcake. If you want big flowers, this is it. If you want smaller ones, there's another set somewhere that is more "mini" for cupcakes

So easy to use and makes beautiful flowers. I was skeptical since most people who decorate cakes do so with a lot of different tips and expertise, so I didn't think these could come close to replicating that. Of course the flowers are probably not as nice as someone actually piping out each petal, but they look really nice and are very impressive. I've attached a photo for reference (I piped the leaves separately with a Wilton 366 leaf tip). It does take a lot of frosting since the flowers are pretty large, so plan to double your frosting recipe if you want to do a full coverage of flowers just to be on the safe side. You could also add different tints of icing inside the bag to make a more varied flower color. Overall I am very happy with this purchase! I am excited to try different colors and combinations. What an easy way to add some real show-stopping panache to a cake or cupcake!

My daughter ordered these,. turns out she wasn't paying attention and these are for the BIG pastry bags. We can't use them so we will donate them :)

When I bought these, I had thought that the heads we're just slightly bigger than the usual ones but I was wrong, these heads are GIANT but they're really easy to use. All I do is squeeze once and I have a while flower rather than the usual method of having to do petal by petal.
