furhaven Orthopedic dog bed.
This is a very nice bed. I have gotten a different type in the past of this brand, and my dog loved it right away. This one took a coupe of days to figure out how to get comfy with the bolsters. This seems like a nice bed. I have ordered the liner to keep it lasting longer. It wasn't too hard to put together and it became fluffy and firm after a couple of days. It isn't water resistant fabric, but it wipes off ok. I got the jumbo size for my 100 pound anatolian shepherd. It's a good fit, and my old doggy seems to be sleeping well in it. I think my dog likes it.

A Five-Star Doggy Resort: Pawsitively Perfect Slumber Spot! 🐾🛏️
Hey there, fellow pet parents! If you're on the hunt for the ultimate snooze station for your fur babies, look no further. The Furhaven Orthopedic Dog Bed is the canine (and feline!) equivalent of a five-star hotel. Here's why my pack—and even my cat—can't get enough of it.🛋️ Sofa, So Good 🛋️The traditional sofa design with three-sided fluffy bolsters is an instant hit. It's like a cozy little fortress that provides both cushioned loft and orthopedic support. My chihuahuas Raya, Sandy, and Ruby have claimed one large bed as their communal cuddle zone, and they couldn't be happier.💤 Dreamy Sleep Surface 💤The quilted seaming on the sleep surface isn't just for looks; it adds an extra layer of cuddling comfort. It's like sleeping on a cloud—if clouds were quilted and came in a stylish Iron Gray.🤗 Bolster Bliss 🤗The bolsters are lightweight yet supportive, creating the perfect headrest and offering nooks and crannies for burrowing. My Pitbull Iris loves resting her head on the bolster like it's her personal pillow, and the orthopedic support is a bonus for her joints.🥚 Egg-Crate Excellence 🥚The egg-crate orthopedic foam base is a game-changer. It soothes pressure points and provides excellent support for aching joints and muscles. It's like a spa day, but for sleeping!🌿 CertiPUR-US Certified 🌿The foam is 100% made in the USA and CertiPUR-US certified, which gives me peace of mind knowing that it meets high standards for content, emissions, and durability. Plus, it's eco-friendly!🐱 Feline-Approved 🐱Even my cat Shadow has given it his paw of approval. She enjoys cuddling up on the bed with Iris, proving that this bed is a hit across species.📏 Sizing and Fit 📏I initially bought a large size for my chihuahuas, Raya, Ruby, and Sandy, but a medium would have sufficed and still left them plenty of room. However, the large size is a perfect fit for Iris, my Pitbull. So, consider your pets' sizes and cuddling habits when choosing.🌟 Final Thoughts 🌟The Furhaven Orthopedic Dog Bed is a hit in my household. It's comfortable, stylish, and offers great orthopedic support. Whether you have tiny chihuahuas, a robust Pitbull, or even a discerning cat, this bed is versatile enough to make all your pets feel like they're in heaven. So go ahead, treat your fur babies to the luxurious sleep they deserve. Sweet dreams are made of these, and who are we to disagree? 🐾💤💕

Sophie Approved ~ We LOVE! With UPDATE!
UPDATE: October 23, 2017:Last week, I had to leave the living room. Sophie was chewing her blue Kong rubber bone so since I was only going to be out of the room for a minute...I had no problem leaving her there.Sound strange? Not if you have a really nosy, SNEAKY bulldog who gets into almost anything!! So I cam back in the room, and Sophie was sitting on her couch bed chewing her blue bone. Before I go on - I have to say I'm a big fan of coloring books and have all kinds of pencils, markers and gel pens.WELL. Somehow, my Sophie found a Metallic Blue PERMANENT Marker <that I bought from Amazon>, and SNEAKILY started chewing it behind the blue bone so I couldn't see it when I cam back in the room. I just thought she was chewing the bone...UNTIL - she came over to my couch and jumped up, sat down, and stared at me. It took doing a double take to see my Sophie now had blue feet and a blue mouth! I freaked...thought ""OMG what kind of bone leaks the color" and went to throw it away, when I saw it. She ate the s*** out of that pen!! It was in pieces. All over her couch bed. Then I freaked thinking she poisoned herself. After a really good inspection - there wasn't one little blue spot in her mouth..amazingly! But - the couch bed didn't fare as well. See photo below!! I also put a few of Sophie so you could see her paws and her "Jabbles" <that's what we call them anyways>. BLUE Permanent Ink!!! ACKKkkWell - I cleaned up the pen parts, took the fabric off the bolsters and bed and tossed it in the washing machine, hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. Well...to my surprise <and a ton of OxiClean Max Force Laundry Stain Remover Spray 12 ounce (pack of 1) > everything came out PERFECT! No blue stains whatsoever. There is one spot that has just a tinge of blue...but that's it. I don't have to throw the couch bed away and I LOVE this even more now. I mean - WHO ever gets permanent ink out of anything?!!!<This also speaks a lot for Oxy Max Force Stain Remover!!!These are the markers I bought on Amazon that she chewed: Write Dudes Infinity Metallic Permanent Markers 8-Count Assorted Colors (CYB80) JULY 7 2017:I'm always looking for things our Bulldog Sophie would like to play with, or use as a bed. We have a dog bed in our bedroom, one in her kennel, and one in our living room. The one in the living room is what I replaced with this one.Sophie is an English / American Bulldog mix and she weighs 89 pounds, which is fairly big for a bulldog. She looks just like an English but has the energy of an American.Sophie is a very, VERY aggressive chewer. She doesn't care if it's her Antlers, daddy's really expensive cowboy boots, my WAY expensive Harley Davidson boots, or any of her beds. We used to buy her furry toys but stopped after spending $5 - $10 on a stuffed toy and she eats it in less than a minute. Every time I get her a bed...she just HAS to chew it. She has ruined others that cost a whole lot more than this one, but so far she's only chewed it for a few seconds then she laid on it.This Jumbo Sofa Bed came in a huge box, and had plastic wrapped around it. I thought the bed would have a strong smell to it as it is Suede, but once out of the packaging, it had no smell. Still, I wanted to wash the cover before she got to use it.I washed it in my washing machine on Gentle - COLD water. I let it air dry and when it was just about dry...I put it in the Dryer for 10 minutes with softener sheets to make it softer and smell really good.I had absolutely no problem putting the cover back on. I was concerned the fuzzy fabric would shed a lot, like a few other ones I got her did, but it only shed minimally.I put the Sofa in our living room just after dinner, and she went right to it...sat on it, and started to play/chew it. She stopped after maybe a minute...but she did no damage to the sofa. No holes, rips or tears. She just lays on it now. <we think her chewing is her way of testing everything!>Sophie really likes the Bolsters. She lays her head on them, and when she falls asleep she sinks down onto the fur part and rolls on her back <which is hilarious to see...arms & legs straight in the air...head stuffed in a corner.>. OK so the Bolsters aren't super firm...but that's OK because Sophie doesn't like them hard. And, yes she has a bog ole heavy head and the Bolsters may squish down after a while...but I'll worry about it when/if we get there. The Egg Crate "Mattress" is perfect for Sophie. She has a bad hip from playing in her pool...she slipped on the grass when she was about a year old and ever since she has a little limp when she over does it. So far...she's been laying on this Sofa for hours at a time and is perfectly happy. When the Egg Crate runs out of gas...I'll go to the store and buy another one and cut it down and stuff it in the cover....NO Egg Crate "Mattress" lasts a long time. I know because I use one every single day on our bed. <I broke my neck and back in the military and these "mattresses" are a huge help to me>. If Sophie seems to be uncomfortable - I'll just buy one, cut it to size and stuff it under the one already there to give her added support. But for now she seems very comfortable! Another option is, if you and your pet really like this Sofa Bed...you can buy Seat Replacement Foam and cut it down to size to fit...I did this for a couch of our that the cushions were really cheaply made...and it worked perfectly. Amazon sells Seat Replacement Foam.Sophie has extremely thin hair, and when she goes outside for longer than 15 minutes - we have to put sunscreen on her as she burns very quickly. And due to such thin hair, she is ALWAYS cold inside. The furry part of this Sofa is perfect! I usually put her "blanky" down for her, but she has yet to go near it.Now - I read quite a few reviews and there are a lot of negative ones - my dog was digging and it is in pieces....my dog chewed it and now it's useless...it's not the Sofa's fault your dog chewed or dug it and ruined it!! There are NO dog chewer proof fabrics in this world...and I've spent a lot of time and a TON of money looking and buying things that say "For Aggressive Chewers"...HA! They haven't met my Bulldog!!Also...if you received a dirty Sofa...try contacting the Seller or Amazon and have it replaced BEFORE you write a negative review. Sometimes stuff happens and all is not as perfect as it should be. If your item gets replaced and you get a beautifully clean item..THEN write a review and tell us all about it. I can't stand it when people write negative reviews on things that have NOTHING to do with the actual item...or they write bad things about something they could have fixed...and didn't. And if you just don't like something...don't put a negative review...not everything is going to be to our liking...that doesn't mean it's the items fault! And yes, I do know there are items out there that just plain old should never have been made. This Sofa Pet Bed, in my HONEST opinion...is not one of the bad ones. I'm sure there are better ones out there...but I bought this one. It has what I was looking for for my dog, the price was right, it got here on time and in excellent condition, and most importantly of all...my baby LOVES her new Sofa Bed. And because of that - I'm a happy person!I definitely recommend this for a dog or cat...or even your pet pig...whatever your pet is <as long as it's not an Alligator or Elephant>, and definitely recommend the Seller. Thanks FurHaven!

It's decent - serves its purpose but wish it was better.
After unpacking and setting up, my first impression of this dog bed is "meh" to good. But not great. My dog (who's used to various dog beds) seems okay with it but not enthusiastic. It looks much better once the two (2) pieces (the main base cushion and the edge bolster) are inserted into the cover. Btw, when you unpack the bolster, it looks terrible (ragged and no shape) - there are instructions to fluff it (by putting it in the dryer with a damp cloth) which works okay. The main base cushion comes air compressed. Once opened, it fluffs up well but does have a chemical smell - not overwhelming but for a dog, it may be strong. The pieces fit into the cover decently - nothing is squashed or misshapen. The cover is quilted which adds a necessary layer of softness and padding. I can't speak to how effective the cooling layer is - time will tell. I also can't speak to how well the cover washes in the laundry - time will tell on that as well. The size is as advertised and the color of the cover is nice. I would recommend this item with the slight reservation that, for the quality received, it might be a tad overpriced. Thanks!

Nos encantó
Pensé que se rompería fácilmente como algunas de las reseñas lo marcan, pero ha aguantado y mis perros son felices.

Manufacturer wrong size
I bought a cover for the mattress of my dog and the size is not accurate at all. I have 4 mattresses of the same size (Jumbo) and the cover I received does not fit at all, is too small. So, I cannot use it and I cannot either buy the biggest one, because it will be too large for my jumbo mattress. See the pictures attached with the exact measurements. I hope Furheaven will solve the issue and will send me a suitable cover. The reason I bought these mattresses is that the covers were replaceable.
