Installed this baby easily on my b2200 Mazda pick up and boy o boy now I’m doing burnouts for fun on the daily since the install. Saves a little bit more fuel than the old carb and it’s a hella goood value for money best part besides doing little burnouts coming out the drive thru window is that the truck now turns on on the first try so runs great and has more HP hot diggidy dawg!

This is not a Weber brand item, but I have to say it looks roughly the same, is finished nicely and works really well! Certainly a great price, with option for manual or electric Choke.

I took a chance on buying this carburetor for my 1984 Jeep CJ7 instead of a genuine Weber since it was about 1/4th the price and so far it has worked perfectly straight out of the box. I did take the carburetor apart before installing just to check it out and I was very impressed with the overall condition and machining. Float settings measured the right heights and the jets are what you would expect for a standard setup. It didn't come with a throttle return bracket in the accessories (and I'm not sure it really needs one because the plates close on their own pretty firmly) but I took the bracket off the Weber 32/36 I was replacing and installed it on the new carb just to be sure. The Jeep fired right up after installing and runs much better than with the twenty year old Weber I was replacing. So far, no complaints at all about how it functions and I don't see any reason why it won't be my Jeep's carburetor for the foreseeable future.

Nice carb, perfect fit on an old jeep. The build quality is not great, the original carb is nearly twice as heavy and you can see in the photo there’s a bracket that is bent and the bolts aren’t even tightened all the way because said bracket doesn’t seem to fit like it should. However this didn’t seem to effect the function of the carb. I put this carb on and the car now idles much smoother and doesn’t randomly stall out like it used to. This did need a slight adjustment but it has worked really good so far. Much easier than rebuilding the original or spending an arm and a leg on a new carburetor. This carb is clearly labeled as progressive but apparently they don’t know what that means. In reality it is two barrel all the time and puts way too much fuel into the engine !!! Do not buy if you plan to enjoy your vehicle for years to come. Please learn the English language before advertising something when you obviously have no idea what the word means. Again this is NOT a progressive carburetor!!!!

I have been trying to find a carb for my 1979, 5.9L Dodge B200 with a 2 barrel carb, I found a almostperfect replacement ( THUNDERMINGO New 2 Barrel Carburetor for Weber 38/38 carb ). I had to elongate the existing holes to fit my stock manifold slightly. My wife was with me when I turned the key, 3 cranks, and the 40 year old, Dodge started right up and idled. I was astonished. I had been fighting that thing for 5 years. I did some messing with the carb linkage, but by this point I was game for some tinkering.Some places wanted $500 - $600 for a replacement. The cost thru Amazon was under $85.00.Stills running great, thanks again.

Used it on 1985 s10 blazer with the 2.8 works awesome just a little tuning but perfect....

So for starters I choose to run named brand things when it comes to my vehicle but I usually pay the high price too I bought this carb as a last resort to give it one last try with a carbureted engine before I went to fuel injected no need to now ..so I have a 87 wrangler with a 4.2 no vac lines and hei dizzy..I started with a genuine Webber 32/36 that' seemed what most people did on the forums and for months I could never get it tuned right I tried everything but change the jets and as much as they cost for 30$ more I could get a new knock off 38/38 and it was night and day difference right out of the box ..it doesn't come with gaskets or throttle plates or any directions but transfer everything over just like a 32/36 if you run that ..and buy a small roll of gasket maker and trace out your old gaskets and make new ones or u can just buy some and use your old linkage also ..so I tuned mine as follows 1 turn on BOTH mixture screws on either side of the base of the carb and half turn on the idle screw that's a good starting point and go from there but this carb is amazing and packaged very well and cheap too! 5 stars all day long ! But remember every engine is a lil different ! Only been on for a couple weeks let me just add that but the power is crazy
