For my nephews
My nephews are 7 and 10. I think they will enjoy this and find it interesting. They can both read it without trouble I believe. I haven’t given it to them yet, but it looks like something they will like a lot.

Interesting but not exciting
I wanted to read this book when I saw the front cover. I gave this 3 stars because I thought this book would be telling about all kinds of unusual, huge fish, but instead it just told how people were catching big fish. I learned from the story that there are very big fish and they could be living right in your own river or lake. My favorite part was the picture of a Stingray that was more than 10 feet wide and longer than 20 feet! I would not recommend this book if you are looking for an exciting book about strange fish. B. Pass on this.
Hardly any pictures. My son loves seeing pictures of the monster fish but this was filled with uninteresting stories. Not a winner at our house.

Really nice book. Colorful, good quality pictures. My son loves the show chasing monsters which is about this subject and this was perfect.

Great book for fish lovers.
Good for learning, especially if you have a kiddo who loves fish. My boy is 4 and although he cannot read he had us read it several times. I couldn't believe it.
