Not a whole lot to review as I haven't needed them (hope I don't) but the construction and materials seem to be excellent. Comes with excellent directions for those who've never had training how to use them.

So I figured I would take a shot and buy a pair of these. Going into the purchase I knew they were not "NAR" TQ's but, wanted to give them a try. After receiving them I opened them up and immediately tried to break or bend the windlass and was not able to bend or break either ones. I then started to try and tear the nylon holding the windlass in place and was surprised that the nylon didn't tear or break. I then applied both and "cranked" them down. The velcro held without slipping and appears to hold as good as a "legit" TQ. The velcro is strong and side by side with a "NAR" TQ they are very similar in form and function. There were no loose nylon threads on either TQ's. Decided to carry one of these as a spare. I would not hesitate to use one of these should I ever had the need of one and feel confident that they will do what they are intended to do.

My Police Department now issues these and they are a life saver! It is a misconception that using one will cause the loss of the limb. Please get training (in person is best buy YouTube will do) and practice with a friend and by yourself on yourself - tighten it up to see what it is like as you will not hurt yourself). These devices should be placed on your clothing or gear in a place EASILY accessible by one hand. Also, be sure to unwrap the item from its packaging (there is plastic on the item inside the case) as you will be unable to do so in a self-installation situation.In the title, I hi ed that anyone that uses a firearm should have one for injuries. However, I think everyone should have one as EDC to save your life or the lives of others. It is as important as an AED and associated injuries are almost as common as a heart attack. Blood loss (‘bleeding out’) can kill within minutes if not treated from wounds that seem relatively minor.I know most people searching for this are either 1st responders (police, fire, military, medics, etc) but everyone needs this (and the basic training). That is why I purchased several as gifts for my family and friends who may otherwise never know it’s importance and ease of use. Help to kill misconceptions that the use of a tourniquet will cause someone to lose a limb. This is highly unlikely and the risk of not using a tourniquet could be death.I am passionate about this but am NOT a sales person and have NOT been asked or rewarded to write this review.
