Delicious
This tastes earthy and delicious -- a subtle flavor, not overly strong. A friend recommended that I drink it when I feel a cold coming on. It works brilliantly! And I like the taste so much that I drink it regularly.

Taste great.
I can’t really attest to a lift in energy, but it may be working and I just couldn’t tell. I can say I love the soothing flavor of the tea and the relaxing effect it has at bedtime. Would recommend for anyone interested in tea or any possible health benefits.

Greek Mountain Tea in Convenient Form
"Greek Mountain Tea" (tea made from Sideritis plants) tastes like a fusion of chamomile, light mint, and Mediterranean herbs such as sage and oregano. Originally I was only interested in the health benefits but didn't like the flavor. Somehow it grows on you over time and you develop a taste for it. No wonder people from Greece love it when they've been drinking it since childhood. It also blends well with other teas such as mint, chamomile, or fireweed (Ivan Tea).According to some medical studies, the Sideritis plant has adaptogenic, antimicrobial, antidepressant, and wound-healing properties among various other benefits. I've noticed that I feel more alert and energetic after drinking it regularly, and after researching later found out it was basically used as an adaptogen by Greeks living in the mountains, especially shepherds. Usually Greek Mountain Tea is sold in loose-leaf form, especially outside of Greece itself, so it's great to now have it available in convenient tea bags. The only issue I have is that these teabags tend to give off a weak taste, possibly because of the way they are stored. (The teabags are inside a clear ziploc bag inside the box, which is itself wrapped in clear plastic. And if it's a pack of 3 boxes those are also in another clear plastic bag). Perhaps the layers of clear plastic weren't enough to protect the herbs (usually mylar is better) or it had something to do with the way they were handled/processed before being packaged. In any case, you need 2-3 bags to get a taste comparable to what loose leaf Greek Mountain Tea will give you, and you're paying 65-75 cents per bag here. This same product is probably much cheaper in Greece itself though. Then again, 1 bag might be good enough if you use a small teacup (I make tea in a mug).
