New, reinforced sheath construction with stronger rivets. Excellent toy or gift to inspire the imagination and get kids outdoors. Affordable yet durable. This thing can take a beating! Should hold up well to sparring and pretend fights though pine can dent when striking hard objects. 50" belt with brass D ring can fit children and most adults with a simple belt knot and be adjusted to any size. Excess belt length can be cut away for small children.

Quality is lax.
The hand guard is loosening from sword and the rivets tore out of the sheath, making it useless.

Sturdy and looks good
This sword saved our production of Peter Pan, our Peter broke his sword the first night, fighting Captain Hook. I had bought this sword as a thank you for starring in the play, but instead I just brought it out and he used it for the last night. Great sword, it held up to the fight and looks good painted or plain,
