We bought this to use as a mouth guard as suggested by my dentist and it does work well and is comfortable. Very easy to use and comfortable, one of the best mouth guards I have used. We really are happy overall with the product other than you should not leave it in the hot boiling water for the time suggested. We did this and when we went to remove it with the wooden spoon it was to soft and started to shrink on the spoon as we were removing it from the water. When we tried with second one we left it in for half the time and it was fine. It works really well and we are happy with the product overall and would buy it again and had no other issues other than the forming of it.I contacted the seller regarding this and they have been very supportive and willing to correct our issues we had with their product. They offered to give us a full refund.

This was my first night guard. After my dentist said I was grinding my teeth at night and needed a night guard and said it would be 500 bucks to get a custom one, I read reviews on Amazon. I decided to try this one first. Glad I did. If you follow the instructions, the product works great - I had no issues molding them.I used an electric kettle to boil the water then poured it into a bowl, let it sit for a few seconds and followed the instructions from there. I have a wide wooden spoon that I used to pull it out of the hot water, as the instructions say to use a wooden spoon. I think if something else, such as tongs, was used to pull out the guard after it’s hot, it wouldn’t work very well.I did a mold on both sizes. The large fits me better but my mouth is pretty small, so I think I might be able to use both sizes.Overall very happy with this product and would definitely recommend to others.

Following the instructions, I tried three times to mold the guard to fit my mouth and each time ended up with a lump of plastic. First time it touched the side of the pan when I tried to take it out of the hot water and it stuck, stretching and breaking into pieces when I tried to remove it. Second time I was careful not to let it touch the side of the pan, but it stuck to the (plastic) utensil I used to remove it from the water and it stretched into an un-useable shape when I tried to take it out the utensil with my fingers. Third time I managed to get in onto a paper towel in fairly good shape but when I tried to splay the edges per the instructions, it collapsed onto itself and stuck together. When heated following the instructions, it has the consistency of a warm, runny piece of chewing gum that cannot be molded. Upon reflection, it may have worked if heated much less, but my three attempts used up the provided guards that were the right size and the instructions should describe a workable method. Even allowing for some user error on my part, I don't know how this product has almost 4.5 stars.

I have a custom dentist made night guard that cost $$$$$. It has never fit properly and causes me some pain at the back of my mouth. I no longer live in the state I had this made so it sits in my medicine cabinet.My new Novome Dental guard box of six was reasonably priced and was easy to form fit my mouth. It is a pleasure to wear at night when I sleep. I even wear it frequently when I am just reading or watching TV it is so comfortable and I tend to clench my teeth awake and asleep. I have found the best dental guard ever and I am very happy to give it a five star rating.

Loving this product for so many different reasons. First of all you get 6 guards/ 2 different sizes so it’s sure to fit you perfectly, at least it did for me. The instructions are so clear and easy to follow , I got my guard to fit on the first try. You also get the case to store when not in use also perfect for when you travel. I’m a bad teeth grinder and usually can’t use mouth guards because they make me gag but this one molded perfectly to my teeth and it gave me no discomfort. I used the small size.

My doctor thought I might have TMJ. I didn't ever used to grind or clinch my teeth, so I never thought to use a mouth guard. I bought to different kinds. This one that requires you to boil water and mold it to your mouth and a 2nd type that you just put in your mouth and didn't require molding. This one is much better. The other type would cause my mouth to stay partly open and I'd wake up with the dryest mouth throughout the night. With this one, my mouth stays closed and I don't notice it so much. I sleep though the night with it. After using for a week, I've noticed my headaches reducing in number and severity. The jaw and ear pain are also less frequent. Hopefully in another week, it will be entirely gone. Good price and works better than the more expensive kind I bought.
