I've used these many times and I find they make perfect gifts for coffee lovers who may travel, not everywhere you go will have a coffee maker and if you're serious about that first cup of your favorite, this little gadget is perfect.Its simple percolating process; place filter in the basket (wide open top) and place your desired amount of coffee grounds (best to just make a single cup worth), heat your water (coffee tastes best with just shy of boiling water), and you pour some water in and let it sit till its filtered into the cup and repeat till you have a full cup.It's slow for people who want instant cup with waiting but if you want your coffee unadulterated by someone else offer preference when visiting family, or maybe put camping with not fellow coffee drinkers, or you happen to go to an air bnb that doesn't have a good coffee accommodation!Highly recommend the filter pairing with gifts, if you feel you know your coffee drinker well get a bag of grounds too, but if you are chronically missing good coffee on thoes weekend getaways or family trips, here is a great solution.Now to look up electric car kettles to get fresh coffee on the road ;)

This is easy to use and makes an excellent single cup of coffee! I love the fresh flavour of it and how you can just pour anywhere from 6 to 12 oz of hot water over auto drip cut coffee grinds. I have an electric kettle and have also used my Kuerig to make hot water to use. I can fit the coffee cup and pour over directly under the Kuerig and use the 8oz or 10oz serving without a pod. I use 2TB of coffee with my pour over but if I make 12 oz cup for my travel mug then I add an additional tablespoon of coffee.

I was able to eliminate my coffee maker, now using just boiling water and the cone with filter. Also composting the cone and filter, as opposed to putting the pods into the land fill (staggering numbers). The cone fits nicely into the cabinet with the mugs. Who doesn't want to clear up some counterspace!?

I love the pour over ease of coffee making. This product is awesome for the price! My only critique is the filters have to be folded in order to fit but they are still a bit wonky in the product. Due to that, have to do an oh so slow pour over of water so as not to have an overflow of coffee grounds. Takes a bit of ‘babysitting’. The coffee tastes great and clean up is easy. Very portable.

I love everything about this product. It’s easy to clean, easy to store and makes an incredible cup of coffee. I’m going to purchase another for when I travel.

I bought this after the office Keurig died. With most staff working remotely, the decision to replace the unit has been put off. I wanted coffee, and needed a way to use the dozens of Keurig pods I'd already purchased. Using this pour-over brewer with filter, I can pour hot water from a Cuisinart coffee brewer over the contents of an opened Keurig pod dumped into the filter cone. I'm not a coffee expert, rarely drink more than a cup a day, but I can't tell the difference between using this device and coffee from a Keurig. The coffee in Keurig pods seems to be finely ground but I rarely see coffee grains in the cup so the filter does what it needs to do. I've been making coffee with this technique for a couple of weeks and doubt I'll go back to the Keurig even if it's replaced; and there's added benefits of being able to try locally ground coffee and (eventually) minimizing the amount of throw-aways from using a Keurig.

I already owned one of these pour over coffee brewers and love the taste and ease of making the one cup of coffee that I drink each day. I like it so much that I took it with me to my second home for the winter. I ordered another one so that I have one at each home now.

Fast shipping. Needed it to replace my old model. This will be my third one in about 15 years. The previous ones started to leak after time. I like the way that they function and produce a great cup or two of coffee. Was pleased to find that this one is the newer style.
