This medicine ball offers terrific grip. It has a soft yet firm faux leather material reminiscent of a quality soccer ball with the multi-panel construction. Out of the box, it was a little out of round, but I was able to roll it back to shape by leaning by body weight through my elbows and working it like a rolling pin. Once the ball was ready, I took it outside for a workout in some heavy heat and humidity. I got sweaty! Wall balls were my planned finisher and I almost skipped them, worried about the heavier weight of this ball from my previous and concerned about the possible lack of grippy-ness from the material. On my first toss and catch, I knew this was a great purchase. The material absorbed the sweat from my hands and I was able to cleanly grip the sides of the ball. Even as the rep count got high and I had a few catches that came to the chest, further wetting the surface of the ball, the ball never became slick, (unlike another ball I purchased). Nor did the ball become sloppy, even as the ball absorbed sweat on a high humidity day, the ball remained solid on the surface. I am very pleased with this addition to my workout resources.

This ball busted before my year warranty was up but I didn't pay attention that there was a warranty. Trx promoted that it wouldn't bust. I work on turf and it busted.I bought three balls 12 and the 20lb rubber slam ball

I’ve been looking for a med ball for a while to add to my home gym. I had looked at Rogue, but the price was a bit steep. TRX makes quality gear and this ball is definitely well made and constructed. It arrived a bit oblong, but through use, I have reshaped it. Wall balls, ab work, etc, this is a quality purchase.

I received the ball alittle over a week ago and I been using it for Hooverball. So it's been flying over a full size volleyball net and landing on the floor frequently and is been holding up like a champ! Great build and I love the material used for grip. (Note: if you are buying a medicine ball for hooverball, get a lighter version of the same ball, 12lbs is 4lbs over the regulation and I failed to get that info before playing so it's been what feels like, RedLine Workouts lol)

Ball arrived when promised and was as described. Quality construction, a price that I still can't believe. I actually ended up order a 16lb & 20lb ball a day later. I recommended to our company fitness and they were going to look into to buy several. Can't wait for another sale to finish off my set.

This wall ball is exactly what I was looking for. There are others at a cheaper price, but I urge you to spend the extra and get this wall ball. I've been using it for a couple of months and it hasn't failed me yet, nor does it show signs of wear. Great product!!!1

The ball seems sturdy. I'll mainly be using it for wall balls. Each time I catch the ball and especially if it hits the ground, the weight in the ball becomes unevenly distributed. I saw this same observation in other reviews but I wanted to see for myself. I'll be trying out a different brand next.

I received the 10lb ball in same-day Prime shipping; great! Very durable tire-tread rubber. I put it to use the next day in my backyard workout. I think this will last forever and I'll add a heavier one in a month or so. I highly recommend this style and this brand!
