Q: Is this a real 100% cotton terrycloth or a plush fuzzy robe?

I'm not an expert on cotton, but I am petty sure that it's cotton and probably the 100% Turkish as advertised. I also wouldn't describe it as Terry Cloth, because this a more plush, heavy material. One word of caution, it does not fit like an American-made design, it's tighter on the back and you need to order probably two sizes larger than you normally wear

Q: Does this robe shed alot when washed? Some reviews say there are alot of strings to cut after a few washes. Has any one had these two problems??

All terry cloth will shed strings a little I think. I have not had any problems with strings or shedding too much and it's a solid strong terry robe. I got a little bleach on it and a hole formed soon after so it's not the most dense material.

Q: Can someone who has owned one for a while and washed it a few times tell me if the terrycloth becomes stringy?

I bought this for my son in October. I swear he lives in it. It's been washed multiple times and is still fine. I recommend it.

I am 5'9" and it goes to my ankles.
