Coming Of Age A Muslim Girls Guide

This book is.cery detailed and thorough. I love that about it because it is a book that my daughters could refer to when they get older. I like the text book format because it makes it easy to find specific topics quickly. Very well written. The only thing it is missing is sex education from an Islamic point of view. And while I understand that the author addresses this and says that it it so parents can broach this topic when their child is ready, it would help to have an Islamic perspective so parents at least know where to start. Plus kids aren't kids forever.

This is a textbook- size/quality publication. Written so girls can understand and relate, but can be used by all ages for reference on Islamic jurisprudence. Worth every penny.

Excellent book for teen girls to read.

I was amazed of what I learned as a mom of 3 girls from this book. I got it for my oldest because I wasn't sure how I was going to approach this subject with her. The book was systematic, checkered with interesting stories from girls from varying ages. I'm not sure who enjoyed this book more, me or my daughter. I think it's a must for girls, teens and young adults alike - it seemed to have something for everyone.

Coming of Age is aimed at young girls, however it is a must have resource for any woman.Full of essential hanafi fiqh and physiological information. It also has lots of invaluable tips (and embarrasing stories) for young girls. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful book that guides pre-puberty and puberty girls, in a safe, scientific and religious way to the changes in their body and the changes in their responsibilities with coming of age. It has plenty of real examples in little boxes and it is a good read as a mother+child or for an older child on their own.

This is very useful book for every family .
