Rescue-K9: A Probiotic Miracle or Just Doggone Good Marketing
As a devoted dog dad, I'm always on the lookout for ways to keep my furry mate in tip-top shape, and let me tell you, A-OK9's Rescue-K9 has been a real tail-wagger in our house. This probiotic supplement for dogs is a bit like a superhero for your pup's gut health â swooping in to save the day, or at least their digestion.First off, the promise of "improving stool quality" might not be dinner table chat, but when you're picking up after your four-legged friend, itâs quite the hot topic. After a couple of weeks of sprinkling this magic dust over my dog's meals, I noticed a dramatic improvement. Itâs like turning back the clock to their puppy days, minus the chewing of your favourite slippers. Firmer, healthier-looking stools became the norm, and my dog seemed more energetic and less gassy â a relief for everyone involved, trust me!The ease of use is another winner. The supplement mixes easily with food, and there's no nose-turning or suspicious sniffing from the dog. It's like they don't even know it's there, which is a blessing when dealing with a picky eater.Pros:Easy to mix with dog food â no culinary degree needed.Visible improvement in stool quality â less âyuckâ and more âyayâ during clean-ups.Reduced gassiness â say goodbye to those silent but deadly moments.Seemed to boost my dog's energy levels â more playtime, less naptime.Cons:The price might make your wallet whimper a little. Results arenât instant â patience is key, and let's face it, not all of us have it.The packaging isnât the most robust â be careful not to spill it during your early morning, half-awake feeding routine. In summary, A-OK9's Rescue-K9 seems to do what it says on the tin. While itâs not exactly a cheap date, the benefits for your dogâs digestive health and overall well-being could be worth the investment. Just remember, it's not a miracle cure â pair it with a good diet and regular exercise for best results. And maybe keep it on a high shelf, away from curious paws and baby hands!

Has to be sprinkled on food
My review is based around the current selling price of ÂŁ17.00Summary:No doubt useful probiotics in handy individual sachet form, but does need to be sprinkled on food. This could be a problem if your dog if off his food??? Putting this aside, you get 10 sachets which will last you anywhere from 20 days (dog weight under 5kg half a sachet), right up to 3 days (dog weight over 36kg says 3 sachets so 1 goes in the bin). The instructions are vague as to whether you should use this every meal time or on just one of the meals. For example for a dog weighing 6-15kg it says 1 sachet. We assume this is 1 sachet a day (reading other information) however do you put the entire sachet on 1 meal, or is it better to try to use this up on multiple meals. Or is it 1 sachet per meal? I think this guessing could be stopped with some âinstructionsâ.Pros:Good valueGood qualityDoes what it saysCons:Playing a guessing game as how to usePoor instructionsOnly 4 months on the best beforeNeeds to be sprinkled on food

Works like magic
This worked really quickly to firm up our dogâs stool and settle his stomach when he had a runny tummy. He didnât seem to have a sensitive tum after and I think this is the benefit of all the probiotics. We only needed one sachet so itâs great to know we have the others in the cupboard for the next time he picks up a bug

Shame itâs not more appealing
My dog really needed help with his stomach issues and unfortunately the powder wasnât appealing so he didnât eat it.

Life saver!!!
I have to be honest, my dogs are fit and healthy at the moment so we haven't used this in anger so far. It says it's for all dogs all of the time and whilst I would agree it would be good for dogs with dodgy tummies, it might break the bank if you were buying it all the time, especially if you have a big dog.I'm lucky, I have two tiny dogs with (for their size) amazingly resilient digestive systems. They seem to be able to eat just about anything without suffering. However, there are times when things go wrong and since they are so tiny, they don't have much to fall back on if they get sick. If one of them gets ill everything is a bit frantic trying to get them better before the unthinkable happens. I have used similar products and found they provided an almost instant cure.At ÂŁ17 for 10 sachets, this sounds quite expensive - even to me when my dogs take far less than the recommended dose, due to their size. But if you put this against the cost of visiting a vet, the price becomes insignificant. If your dog falls ill, try some of this first. If you don't see a positive improvements very quickly, then check in with the vet as the problems could be caused by something more serious than stomach bacteria.Because my pooches are not unwell right now, I have sprinkled some of the powder over their food to see if they are happy to take it. They are, they wolfed down their food like always, I'm not sure they even noticed they were getting a healthy addition to dinner. If your pup has an upset tummy and won't eat - so you can't mix the powder with their food - you can always mix it with some water to form a paste and squeeze it into their mouth. Alternatively, I find that if mine aren't prepared to eat normal food, they won't turn down a teaspoon of yogurt or cream cheese no matter how many added ingredients I mix in.I hope you purchase this and never need to use it. It does have a long shelf life so you probably will use some if not all. I'm happy to recommend it as mine were happy to eat it and the ingredients are practically the same as other brands I have used with great success.
