The media could not be loaded.  I bought this unit for a large basement. I've set it to 40% humidity, and it seems to be holding that level, cycling on and off. The reservoir automatically empties via a small plastic hose into a sink in the basement.Shipping was well done, in a heavy cardboard box, with Styrofoam inserts to hold the heavy unit in place. It does weight about 100 pounds or so. Cutting the box apart allowed for easy de-boxing. The only assembly required is to bolt the handle in place with 4 screws.The only problem I had was fitting the hose to the unit. There is a plastic coupling that needs to be seated. At first, I didn't fully seat the plastic hose to the receptacle, and it leaked. After fully seating the connector, it was fine. It is gasketed, and an extra gasket is provided.Overall I am happy with the unit. Instructions could have been clearer though. You would think that you could just change the humidity level easily, but it seems that you need to run through the entire setup procedure to set the humidity to a different level. It isn't hard, just not obvious from the instructions.About longevity, I have no clue. But it does seem to be made well. Cross my fingers.

If you can open a can of soup you can use this product! It works like a champ pulling the moisture out of the air. Our property was flooded by hurricane Ian and with the power shut off for days the air was as thick as can be. The Abestorm pulled the water out of the air like going to the well on a hot summers day. The Abestorm is easy to use and move around and boy it works great!

Information screen gives you lots of information about how the machine is operating. Well built. Long warranty that hopefully means it won’t fail like the the cheap crap sold for homeowners!

This machine works great for our restoration business. It produces great hot dry air as it should. We will be buying more fore sure.

The product was better than described. Very well-built works perfectly currently drying a long Term care facility. Will be buying more in the future.

The dehumidifier arrived sooner than expected and was delivered straight to my front door. I needed it on a water damage loss that day, so I quickly unpackaged it and loaded it in my truck and headed to the job. When I rolled it into the customers home, they were very impressed with how it looked. the quick connect purge line made it easy to set up, and I personally love the screen on top! I will absolutely be buying more of these in the future!
