Margaret Wise Brown's Manners (Little Golden Book)

So sweet and polite
Oh my goodness. Such a sweet book. The illustrations are so darling. My 13 month old absolutely loves this book. I like that it politely mentions that there’s two different ways to do things, without demanding that you do it a certain way. It’s my favorite little golden book and it might be my sons too.

Oldest daughter’s favorite reference book
Purchased for my 2 and 3.5 year old daughters. We are doing preschool from home due to Covid and I felt like we were missing out on learning social skills. This book REALLY hit home for my oldest daughter and she absolutely loves this book. She actually carries it around like a reference book and tries explaining to everyone different “manners” and if they are using them or not. The book is adorable and I believe I got it with a buy 3 get 1 free book promotion(usually little golden books like this are about $4.99). Every little one needs a book like this during these times I believe.

I love Margaret Wise Brown
I love Margaret Wise Brown. And I found this new book to be very timely--especially with pages on how one should treat smaller/vulnerable people and how one should not. The whole book has great text about manners in general, but I was able to talk about compassion and character as well. (Love the Little Golden Books.)

Great for Solidifying good social behavior
Sometimes kids don’t want to be told to act right, but if the messages come from a book they can understand that other kids read these books too, and then they are more likely to comply with something like.... being silly vs being dangerous. Or greeting someone vs hiding away. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the last page which is a little confusing.

Love this BOOK!
I really like this book, it helps parents and grandparents with educating our children on good and bad behavior. This book came to me in great condition, no signs of use or wear. The book has not been opened. I highly recommend this book!

Just fine
The story is fine, but a bit vague for readers who need explicit instruction. Sadly, in our cop, Half of the pages are crisply printed and half are misprinted with misaligned ink.

Great gift
This was a great gift for my soon to be born granddaughter. It was on the list of books my son and daughter-in-law made.

Paperback not that great
Hardcover would've been nicer. No complaints about the content though.
