I ordered the scissors to add to my colonial costume. Colonial women often hung small scissors alone with a pin cushion to keep handy for sewing. I made a pin cushion pouch to keep the scissors in while wearing. Received many compliments while wearing and demonstrating my outfit at events.

Sharp blades easy for trimming threads.

Sleek design and gripping.. very durable. I personally use them for crafting but these scissors are very versatile.

love these for a desk accessory!

I ordered these ribbon cutting scissors to use in my sewing room as snips for cutting thread ends. Upon arrival and I couldn't believe the size of the scissors and thought "these should be used for ribbon cuttings at store grand openings." I didn't see how I could use them in my sewing room. I went back to my order on Amazon and realized that I had, in fact, ordered "giant" ribbon cutting scissors! So, if you need scissors for a ribbon cutting, these would be an excellent choice. I am going to keep these scissors and hang them up in my sewing room as a cool decoration and as a reminder to read more carefully :)

These scissors are very beautiful. The grill area is a little large for a large for my hand. So they are not quite as easy to use as I would like. They are very sharp and the color is very nice.
