I use them. They are very very small maybe inch and a half around

The products are the preferred smaller size and good quality. When lit they glow like hot embers and look very real! Unfortunately, the longest piece was broken. It is still usable and too much hassle to send return for an exchange.

We recently purchased an outdoor gas fir pit for our patio. It had the standard rocks inside the pit. Upon using it we were a bit disappointed in how little the flame was, as it's in a circular pattern. My hubby decided to purchase these fireplace logs to add on top of the rocks. It made a big difference. We had an almost real looking fire in the middle of pit and much more flame for ambience which is what we were hoping for. I wish they were a bit bigger/longer but we are thrilled with our purchase.

I just needed a few extra pieces to get a more natural look. These were just right, matching the ones that came with my unit. We've done 5 evening fires so far.

Way too small for any fireplace.
