This little fly box worked perfectly in my minimalist chest pack. Holds enough flies for a day of fishing if you keep it simple.Seems durable enough and the included lanyard kept me from dropping it in the South Platte River repeatedly.

Compact but holds a lot of flies. Opens and closes easily.

For the price it’s a good buy. The latches could be a bit better but they work fine.

I will readily admit that being waterproof was not on my priority list when purchasing a new fly box, but maybe it should have been. I don't always wade into deep water, but the two times that I did walk into water deeper than my flyest pocket, this fly box was wet inside. I am sure that this box is water resistant enough to float, if I ever drop it into the water, but it's definitely not water proof. Would I buy this box again? Definitely! Will I probably buy another for my son, definitely! If the manufacturer has any hints about how to make this box waterproof, I would be happy to accept them, so that I don't have to leave the box in the sun every couple of weeks to dry out. Fish on!

So i got the smallest of the boxes, this was just to bring a hand full of flys as i am learning to fly fish. There are something like 30 slots per side, however as you can see from the photos if you have any wolly buggers or any other larger fly, you can only fit maybe 5-6 without cramming them. Smaller flys fit just fine, if you skip a space or two. I ultimately should have got the bigger one.The case is strong feeling, and seems to be waterproof (not tested). The doors close tight, and the latches seem strong enough to withstand a fall or ten. Overall great quality so far. I just got this, so i have no idea how it will do out on the water yet, but i do have high hopes.A bit of random advice, the box is naturally slightly static charged, so don't keep it open when trimming feathers... it holds all the little trimmings so much its hard to get them out.Overall I will probably buy the bigger ones again. If this holds up over a few trips i will up it to 5 stars for sure.

Fly box works well. Durability is yet to be determined.

I always cringe buying a box that has the sole purpose to hold a fly I’m not currently using. But when you buy a poor product, you’ll regret it. This has a perfect price point and I’ve never had one of them leak. They sit on the back of my kayak and they generally get wet. I’ve never had a single seal issue. Great little box. They get a little tight when you start putting taller bait fish patterns. Normal patterns for salt water fit just fine. Also, or you can stack a ton of them in a pelican 1400 case.

I got this for when I don’t need sling bag, when I’m fishing a spot where everything is close on shore and just want small selection of flies. Without huge case, this looks like when I go5 as fitting the bill. Should like it thinner. But. It fits poppers for if I’m bass fishing so. I still like it. Closing snaps are little loose but are fine. I’m OCD so I used rubber band or bungee to make sure. Again product good. I’m just nutty
