I picked these up for my 2 Canon digital SLR's that have exposed hot shoes on top. While I don't worry about the metal hot shoe rails getting damaged, the metal rails could catch on clothing or when pulling camera body in/out of a bag or backpack. I wanted a way to prevent the metal rails from catching on anything and I think this solution is perfect... and the bubble level is just an added bonus. Smart design I think!

For some reason it doesn't take long for me to lose the hot shoe covers that come with my cameras. You want to keep the hot shoe protected and these do a great job of that. They fit tight for great protection and the level is very useful. Good value for the money. If you are like me, you will lose some of these as well, so order extras.

Very cool idea and can be a useful tool when filming or taking photos, especially if you are at an odd angle. I wish they fit a little more snug though.

If you use a DSLR or any rig with a hot or cold shoe on top this is a great accessory to have. Sometimes you have no time to raise the camera to your eye before the opportunity passes. In that instance you just press the shutter and hope you got lucky. Having this thing to glance at gives you a chance to keep it more or less level without any fuss or delay.Bonus, you get several so you can keep a spare and gift a couple to yr fellow shooters.

I have several Nikon cameras, and being one of those people who lie awake at night wondering if anal-retentive should have a hyphen, I like to keep the hot shoe covered, though I know people say it is not necessary. The original is easily lost, and nikon replacements are expensive for a tiny piece of plastic. These at least have some use, are cheaper, and assuage my misplaced anxiety. It's nice for lining up a landscape shot on a tripod, too.

Very handy to have. Especially when using them on my camera on a tripod. I can easily see if I've got the tripod level or not. They fit well. I'm using them on a Nikon Z6ii and a Nikon Z9. Great price too.

I see a number of negative reviews of these bubble hot shoe covers saying they slip off too easily. But rarely (if ever?) do those negative reviews identify what cameras the purchasers used them on.I took a chance on purchasing a pack of four since they had free returns (at least they did in Aug of 2020). I am very pleased with them.In my experience, these fit well in all my cameras listed below.
