Slides into your hand just right, well balanced
Excellent Mechanical Pencil, easy action and I liked the sharpener in the top works brilliantly. Knurled for an easy secure grip. The spare leads in a hard case is great as they remain intact. Good quality writing and drawing. A prime example of a well-made and fully functional item should be, the lead storage hard case is just icing on the cake.

Excellent quality product at a very good price
I didn't expect much to be honest for £4.99 for a metal bodied mechanical pencil that even comes with a pack of 12 refill leads.I recently picked up a Staedtler 780C which was roughly twice the price, just for the pencil/lead holder on its own.Now I don't know if this will last as long as the German-made Staedtler item but for this price I don't really care.Build quality feels very good; substantial and well machined. I find the click press mechanism requires a bit more pressure than others I've used but I wouldn't go so far as to say it was stiff - clearly it just has a slightly stiffer spring inside.Something I did notice is that depressing the top causes the lead to come forward a few millimetres, more akin to the mechanism of a propelling pencil, rather than a clutch pencil.Typically with clutch pencils, you need to be aware that when you press the top, the grip on the lead is looseded and the lead will completely fall out of the bottom if you don't remember to put your finger or something else in front to stop that happening. This mechanism doesn't do that. When you depress the top, you can pull the lead out very easily, but it won't fall out by itself. As far as the leads go I was delighted to note that there were actually decent. Past experience of Chinese pencil leads has led me (pun unintended) to expect they would be ridiculously over-hard, barely leaving more than an dirty indentation in the paper. Quite the opposite with this.I see now, after carefully scrutinising the description that buried in the detail it says the supplied leads are 2B. I concur that that is about right. Possibly a fraction harder than a European 2B (say 1.5B) perhaps, but they leave a decent, dark trace. The pocket clip is stiff and well attached for those who plan to use it.I wholeheartedly recommend this product.

Lovely product
Only criticism is there's a little sharpener on the pencil button at the top but (unless I'm using it wrong) you have to dismantle the lead to sharpen it & put it all back again!A separate charcoal sharpener would be great...

Good Mechanical Pencil
The pencil is pretty good and unusual with the thickness of the lead. It doesn't grip as comfortably as i expected, but i guess i'll get used to it in time.

Works well
Although it felt a bit light for being metal, it worked well and at a cracking price.
