Morbius [DVD] [2022]

Amazing. No other words. A bold showing on the theory and practice of collective oligarchies. A consumerist masterpiece that shows the function of a capitalist world built off of democracy. In every moment the screen fills up with action, not only from the main character. It should win an Oscar for its screenplay. The amazing factors might be from the hyper-realistic animation Or the magnificent plot. The plot involves an emoji. Amazing plot right? Whoever thought this should be made deserves a medal. This is the best animated of the 21st century. Easily beats every movie in its path. This movie made me dedicated to my present job, being an emoji. The antagonist is a totalitarian ruler who lives for money and fame only. Any person caught making the wrong face gets eliminated. the climax is the fellow emojis coming in to save the day. after I watched it in the theater I felt something I had never felt before. Pure 100% joy. This film needs a follow-up ASAP. I have never in my life seen a better movie. The film's soundtrack consists of works better than the likes of Elton John, The Beatles, Queen, and any other group/solo artist(s). I felt like I was in the world of emojis with all the realistic details around the landscape. This movie grasps its audience and does not let go. The captivating story, the amazing music, the idea of the movie itself, the screenplay, landscape, random details, Easter eggs, all of those reasons mentioned are just SOME of why I love this movie. The trailer is fantastic, and I love the ending of the dance! A critic's DREAM. We follow the main character through land after land, app after app, including candy crush, Twitter, DropBox, Just Dance, message apps, Facebook, pirates bay, Spotify, and so much more! They included tutorials for the game, to try and get us to play the game! Some people say this is just a long ad, and they are right. As a consumerist, I don't mind this! This movie is so enjoyable it feels as if you are flying to your happy place! 10/10. Would watch it again 7 times! A modern classic that in the future will be looked at as nostalgia! If you see this at the bargain bin, PLEASE, buy it. This movie is too good to look over. It's insane how the director can make this good of a movie! We need a Sequal, live-action remake, musical, everything! Watch this masterpiece, and you will agree with make. thank GOD for this movie! My emotions went insane for this movie! I can not believe how they made a movie about emojis turn into the entertainment powerhouse! I love emojis I want to be an emoji so much, I love it! The emoji movie is cool I love it! please let my family go hahaha. The emoji movie has so many stunning backgrounds it's amazing! I love emoji movies so much! THE EMOJI MOVIE HAS SO MANY RELATABLE CHARACTERS I LOVE!

Not a bad film if you want a bit of acy

A Marvel comics movie.Be aware that this is not made by Marvel Studios. Who make nearly all of them. It's made by Sony. Who hold the rights to Spider-Man. Let Marvel borrow him for movies. But want to get their own comic book movie universe off the ground. They made Venom. They did the same with Morbius.Thus this doesn't follow the usual Marvel movie style. And it's a fifteen certificate so not one for the younger kids.Morbius [Jared Leto] is a Spider-Man foe from the pages of Spidey stories. He's a man with Bat like abilities [but don't call him Man-Bat otherwise DC comics will sue. If you don't get that then google it]. This movie attempts to give him a comic book movie, that like all initial ones for characters, tells his origin story and gives him a foe to fight along the way.Morbius is researching cures for a condition of his. Finds it. Gets his abilities as a result. Struggles with being good or evil. But an old friend who gets the same cure approaches things a different way...Well, it's different from the usual Marvel style. But Marvel studios know what they're doing. Sony are still rather figuring things out. It has become very fashionable to hate this film online. But it's not nearly that bad. It is though not nearly that good.It falls into the trap of some [Green Lantern, X Men Origins Wolverine, the 2015 Fantastic Four spring to mind] of getting a little too much plot and exposition in there. Some decent actors fare differently with the material. Jared Leto should carry this whole film and be compelling to watch. But he just keeps it all in. As a result, the film is totally stolen by Matt Smith, who goes with his part and has fun with it. Even though it's not a role that stretches him at all. Jared Harris appears briefly, and is the better Jared in the movie by far.Early scenes do show some interesting set up in the main characters relationship, which honestly the film could have done a lot more with. But having to get the origin done and the villain dealt with by the end means it just feels a bit rushed and ultimately rather empty. And the supporting characters are rather forgotten about in the process.Jared Leto has said this was heavily edited. So there is clearly a longer and possibly more Marvel referencing version of the film out there somewhere. Which I don't think we will ever get to see. And I can live with that.This isn't the worst film ever made by a long shot. But it's just a rather average one. So I wouldn't expect anything to follow on from it. Not least the two end credits scenes. Both of these come very early on in those, so you can switch off after the second as there's nothing right at the end.Covid meant this was delayed nigh on two years in it's release date. At least we finally got to see it. But it wasn't desperately worth the wait.The dvd begins with a generic anti piracy ad. You can skip it via the next button on the dvd remote.Language and subtitle options are:Languages: English, Czech, Hungarian, Italian, Polish. The former's microphone seems to be a bit faulty during this.The good, the bad and the ugly - supporting cast: four mins of Jared Leto and the director in one of those 'everyone was really awesome and this was an amazing project to work on' featurettes.Neither of these can really be described as essential viewing.

Much better than I thought it would be... would definitely recommend to both Mavrel lovers and vampire lovers.
