My partner absolutely loves passionfruit in her morning smoothies. Sadly it's getting harder to find in the grocery store, so I turned to Amazon. Needless to say the fruit is tasty and delicious and this brand is good quality, but what really bears calling out is the shipping.A great many 'cold shipped' items are shipped with these cheap gel ice packs, and frequently arrive 'cold' but not 'frozen'. That is not what happened here. The shipment was very well packed in a Styrofoam shipping cooler, with the box of passionfruit bags surrounded by wrapped bricks of dry ice. The packaging had all the required warnings, and wrapped bricks make it a lot harder to get frostbite. But there was plenty of dry ice left when it arrived and the fruit was still perfectly frozen.If this had thawed, the chunks would re-freeze together and it would be a royal pain to use any of it. Not the case here. The dry ice kept it nice and deep frozen for the whole trip.While this may not be the cheapest way to get passionfruit, I think the value for money is there given the quantity you get per order. Just make sure you have freezer space for it! We will be buying again when we run out!

This is a great tasting product! This is the actual tart juice from the fruit with the seeds removed, and is as strong and tasty as right out of the fruit. However this price must be for way more than one packet. One 12 oz. packet at Walmart is $4, so this must be for a larger amount - but it is not stated in this listing.
