I took the plunge and decided to nab a Seattle Kraken t-shirt from Calhoun. I already have a few other shirts from them and have loved each and every one that I've had so far, so this was a no brainer. I'm a Vancouver Canucks fan at heart, but I love all of the NHL squads for different reasons and have owned a shirt, cap, or jacket for pretty much all of the teams over the years.This shirt is surprisingly comfortable. I was a bit worried that the massive Kraken logo on the chest would be stiff and uncomfortable but it actually feels quite nice. I love the frayed look of the "S" and the acid wash look screams vintage. Since I remember when acid wash was a new thing, does that make me vintage as well? I love the Calhoun patch near the bottom of the shirt as well. It adds to the vintage look.I will say that this shirt is comfortable but a slight bit snug. That being said, Calhoun notes that themselves in the shirt description.This shirt looks good on the ice and on the beach. Considering the fact that I live in Louisiana, this shirt will definitely get more beach time than ice time.Dive into the deep blue sea with this shirt. I highly recommend it.

Ordered a size Large for a ​6'2"180lbs manI'll begin by saying this shirt looks excellent on my husband. We both really like it. The fit is true to size and the logo is placed right.You can feel the quality is there with this shirt. The material is incredibly soft. I would say the fabric feels a tad bit on the thinner side, but it doesn't look like it when he's wearing it. The logo is very thick and the stitching exceptional. The logo patch is also very well made and I anticipate it will hold up in the washing machine through many washings. Plus we found the heathered bleach look is really unique. Overall, it is constructed well too; I didn't find any loose threads that needed snipping or stitching blunders. It is a really nice t-shirt.Hope this review was helpful

Fits true to size. The logo area seams to fray a bit after washing, but overall a really nice shirt.I actually got to wear it to the Stanley Cup Championship Celebration.

The stitching on the patch logo is a little "over"-frayed but it's still very cool. The shirt is med-heavy duty shirt in terms of thickness/ruggedness. This is not a flimsy, fall apart upon touching, $1 general store type of shirt. I can see why a skater would definitely like it as if you have to bail the shirt will stand up to the punishment.The shirt also has a white acid wash look against the black/dark gray of the shirt color.I like the look and quality of the shirt though I haven't worn it yet - I wear a medium usually and by draping it over myself, it looks like your standard medium sized shirt so it shouldn't have any fitment issues.

it is like a press on decal quality, threading on corners immediately and unfortunately I didn't open the package right away so could not return

I ordered the Bruins shirt in large and the fit is as I expected.So far I have only washed it once and the patch is still very stiff. Frankly it is not very comfortable and hopefully will soften up over time. But it is a fantastic vintage style and for that it gets 5-stars. Just be aware the patch will be stiff, at least initially.

This shirt fits well. If you want it to be a looser fit order one size larger.The logo is not imprinted on the shirt, it’s a canvas patch that’s attached to the shirt l, so be aware that it’s more like a hockey jersey with a logo, rather than a regular T-shirt with a screen printed logo.Go Bruins!

I'm a huge Penguins fan and couldn't skip on this shirt. The fit is perfect and the shirt is very soft. I like the texture-like design on the shirt. I will say I was put off originally by the "loose threads" but then realized that was intentional. If you're a hockey fan this shirt would be a great addition to your wardrobe!!

Bought to wear during the Stanley Cup playoffs to support my 2nd favourite team. It fits well and washes up nicely. They didn't win but I looked good cheering them on.

When I first got this tee-shirt I thought there was a quality control issue. The border of the NHL logo had significantly frayed threads all around it. That's odd, I thought, because every NHL branded Calhoun shirt I've tried had superb quality. Then I went back to this listing and discovered that it's by design. It's retro! Wow, I'm really not a fan of this style, especially because the fraying is very uneven and gets more pronounced when you put this shirt through a wash cycle.I would say the style fits well on certain classic NHL logos such as the Red Wings, Maple Leafs and Blackhawks. It looks woeful on the new ones, like Kraken and Knights, which is the one I got. With these sleek, new logos, it looks like a mismatch, kind of ratty too. To their credit, the title and pictures are pretty explicit on what to expect. Aside from this personal aesthetic preference, the shirt fits well and has the thick, good-quality material that Calhoun is known for.

Despite product photos, only the NHL logo is frayed/weathered; the rest of the shirt is cotton with a denim-looking print and looks very good in person.Sizing is as expected and fit fairly relaxed – I am 6’1”, 195lbs. and the large fits me perfectly. Material is 100% cotton, and is very soft even before the first wash, all stitching is flawless except for the purposely frayed NHL logo.My only complaint is that since the print on the shirt has random-sized white blotches, my shirt happens to have two larger, more noticeable blotches in the front which kind of looks like toothpaste stains (see attached photos taken when I put the shirt on for the first time).Washing instructions: Machine wash separately cold. Tumble dry low. The shirt was made in Bangladesh.Overall, I’m really happy with this shirt and pricing is fair compared to other licensed shirts of similar quality.
