A pair of cooling towels, one in a gorgeous teal kind of blue, and the other cerise pink. Nice for a man and woman, as a couple perhaps..The actual towels have good length, however not the width. The width is slim, so slim and long, which would be good for sweating around the neck if working out.Very lightweight and good strong material.I use mine being a lady of a certain age for the menopause, the towels are so light and brilliant for this. Plus if on a bike ride, or any sweating going on with working out, walking in hot conditions. Also if hot find a spring water walk, soak the towel and lay it across the back. Let me start by saying that this towel is lightweight, soft to the touch and of a good length. However, according the way that it is described as working it is not quite accurate.So, I soaked the towel and then wrung it out as hard as I could, shook it a few times and, apparently, good to go... well, at that point it was cooling, felt good around my neck and even better if draped it over my head. Once cooled I let it hang around my neck ready for the next use. And that is when I discovered the problem - fairly soon afterwards my t-shirt was wet enough under the towel to feel uncomfortable. I vigorously shook the towel out a couple of times and wrapped it around my head. At this point it was doing its job well, cooling my head and absorbing any sweat.As a result I give mixed review: it works well as a scarf, can be used as a towel but Be careful if you are going to soak it in water first as that aspect does not seem to work as described. If you don't care about having damp clothes then it works well. Good scarf, good towel, be careful how damp you make it.

Last year was way too hot, I really suffer in the heat. I like to do a lot of cross country, mixed terrain walking, friends last year often remarked on how red and hot I looked.These towels are made from the same fabric as my dog’s cooling coat, and I know how much that helps him. I tried one out after a brisk walk over the nearby hill and was very happy in how fast they work. You have large arteries on the neck that are quite close to the surface, the towel isn’t just cooling your neck, it is cooling the blood too making you cool down. They are very easy to carry and to wash and dry.The price is excellent.

I recall some years ago being in Central Africa and it was incredibly hot and humid and the sweat was pouring off me. My friend gave me a damp towel which I put around my neck and it worked a treat and it lasted. When it dried out, it was just a matter of putting some more water on it. The downside with the towel was the size of it. You get 2 of these towels in the pack. They are about the size of a hand towel. They are much thinner and lighter than an ordinary towel and have a nice soft well made feel to them. You wet them, ring them out and slap them before putting them around your neck. The towel really does feel refreshing it is does cool you down. This fits comfortably and nicely. It also protects the neck from the sun. I like these. Great for holidays in hot countries or when exercising and for the price great value.

I’ve only had occasion to use these a couple of times but already I can see that they work well. They are very easy to use, it’s just a case of wetting the towel and then wringing it out - finally just give it a ‘snap’ (much like in the school changing rooms) and then you’re ready to go.I’ve found that they keep me pretty cool on hot days when I’m ‘working up a sweat in the garden’ - I had thought that they’d have to spend time in the fridge, but that hasn’t been the case.At the time of my review £6.98 would get you a pack of two of these towels, which is very good value for money - I’m happy to recommend these.
