Cheap knock-offs.
These are apparently cheap knock-offs made with substandard materials. Two out of three that I've tied so far split open when I began to tighten them down on the water line.

Easy fix
Very easy product to use and haven’t had any of the drip system repairs fail. Good product I have 8-9 pieces on hand so repairs can be done fast

Easy to use.
These couplers are very easy to use, and to change if need be. The end of 1/2" ID lines may need to be softened with hot water, but my 5/8" lines fit fine without. The price is great, too.
