Irish Setter, Marshall, Men’s, 11", Waterproof, Steel Safety Toe, Pull-On Work Boot, Brown/Olive, 9 D (Medium)

I tried these boots on in Rural King but at $200/pair I could not bring myself to purchase them. When I saw Amazon had them cheaper I went ahead and ordered them. I used to wear Ariat Groundbreakers. They took forever to break in and the sole was not as slip resistant at the Irish Setters are. Out of the box these Irish Setters look and feel better than my Ariats did after I broke them in. For size reference I am a true 9½. My Ariats are a 9½ D. In the Irish Setters I am a 9 D.

Had these boots for a few months now. Initial thoughts they were immediately comfortable. There was no real break-in period and so far they are holding up quite well. We will see what the longevity is with these boots, however so far I'm happy.

I've been buying Irish setter boots from red wing store in town, every year I buy a new pair. The Marshall style is my favorite, I work in oil refineries, I'm on my feet 12 hours a day, these boots are quite possibly the most comfortable and durable shoe I've worn. Timberland are comfortable but they don't last in my line of work, I'll wear them out in 3 months tops. This boot is both comfortable and durable, to get a year out of my boots in my line of work that's saying something. I found them here on Amazon a few dollars cheaper so always trying to save a buck.Here's some photos of the old ones I'm replacing. I've had these a little more than a year
