Excellent design and performance
After 3 months of use the tablet works really great. No bugs, no glitches, battery last 2 hours of intensive use, the pen is accurate and fast, nice speakers, excellent for drawing and games.

Excellent(update)
Update.We bought another tablet (same one) and had the same issue. Reviews reported it too, however after a lot of searching online i found that the magnetic case was interfering with the pen. So the tablet is fine but don't buy magnetic cases with it. The tablet is amazing and highly recommended.******Part of the screen was not working upon first use. Took 14 days for Amazon to process my refund. Entire process was a disaster. The tablet was for my child's school work. Not happy.

Stunningly quick for a tablet, brilliant audio with Sony LinkS earbuds
There is a Samsung promotion at the moment that makes this tablet a serious challenger for the Apple iPad. Value for money will depend if the samsung trade in promotion is available; if it is, the value for money is 5 stars. It has WiFi 6E, a sleek finish and, it's stunningly quick for a tablet. I have two ASUS Zen AX routers with cabled mesh backhaul, and set for WiFi 5 160 MHz (not 6E) and, the WiFi connection speed (WiFi 5 second channel) is 2.4Gbps! The only downside so far, is the Smart Switch app for transferring data from my old Samsung Tab S does not work with a cable or wireless connection. I have found Android 12 a fairly step learning process after Android 6 and, it won't install apps such as the standard CCleaner that can be installed on Android 6. The finish is immaculate, but feels slippery; a case is a must. Fortunately Amazon sell the Samsung "One Size" case that holds the S8 by strong concealed magnets. Strong concealed magnets also hold the two reading positions. Most of the software bloat seems to be useful. I have Sony LinkS earbuds [thank you Amazon Vine] and they work so well with this tablet. I switched in LDAC, DSEE, Dolby Atmos for music, and Adaptive Sound for my hearing profile: music Nivana, what a combination!!
