Sis, Take a Breath: Encouragement for the Woman Who’s Trying to Live and Love Well (but Secretly Just Wants to Take a Nap)

The book we all need right now!
This book is full of encouragement, faith, Godly wisdom, relatable stories and invitations to pause and reflect on how you are living and showing up for your own life. Kirsten is so authentic and relatable; you will feel like she’s your big sis who sees the demands on you, and is cheering you on to live intentionally in the day to day. I didn’t realize how much I needed to breathe deeply, how I was actually holding my breath a lot of times… stressed, and anticipating what is coming next in the day instead of being present in the current moment. This book will have you nodding your head in agreement, not only feeling understood as a busy woman, but empowered in your journey to live and love well! This is a perfect read to buy a tired friend for Mother’s Day! I highly recommend.

Enjoyed! Quick read with a number of great take-always!
Purchased this after hearing episode of Focus on the Family. It was a great read after I left my career to be a full time stay at home mom. Some good take aways and application tips for kiddos!

It’s Never Too Late to be a Better Mom!
My two boys are in their twenties and I wish I had this book when they were littles. I was the primary provider, with a lot of work travel and was trying to be perfect at everything. Despite my faith in God, there were too many times I was overwhelmed and very hard on myself. Guilt was constant. Kirsten’s down-to-earth, faith-filled account of her journey is an inspiration to me. Her book is encouraging me to remember to breathe . . . especially since I still get the phone calls that start with, “Mom, I don’t want you to freak out but . . . . “. As if I’ve ever “freaked out” - lol. God Bless you Kirsten and your precious family!!!!

Such a Great Reminder of REAL Truth!
Oh my goodness, if I could wrap Kirsten up and put her in a bottle to "spray God's goodness" on everyone/everything, I would! And THIS BOOK, Sis, Take a Breath, does just that. In it, Kirsten shares her very real and admirable faith in a very real and admirable God, all the while sharing how she sees Him in her unique position in life: mother of 7, football wife, Bible leader, all.the.things....She has always been someone I look up to as an example of true grace, faith, humility, gentility, and love, and I am SO GLAD you get to share in some of that deliciousness through this book.Grab it today! You won't regret it. =)

Worth every minute spent reading.
Kirsten humbly writes with both truth and grace. I appreciate her open, honest and transparent communication with me as the reader. She has wisdom to share, so take notes!!“Busyness is not a competition” has been one of my favorite quotes reading this far. What an encouragement and great reminder for me daily as I am in the trenches of motherhood myself.I have a couple more chapters to read, but have already gained multiple nuggets of wisdom. I’m excited to not only marinate on Kirsten’s wisdom but also apply it in the days and weeks to come.Get your copy now, my friend. Worth every minute of reading!

Encouragement for every woman
Excellent read! Kirsten Watson gives an inside perspective as an NFL wife and mom to SEVEN kids. In what feels like a casual conversation with a friend, this book provides practical hope and encouragement for every mom from many different backgrounds. She gives permission to make the primary things important and reprioritize the so-called “extra.”Her faith in God is inspiring. Without being “judgy” or “pushy,” Watson invites the reader into her faith journey—ups and downs. The same relationship she enjoys with God feels very accessible and attainable. I highly recommend this to any mom or woman who hopes to be a mom.

Honest and Encouraging for All Women, especially Moms
Kirsten’s take on life as a Christian and as a mom is timely and honest and funny and encouraging all at the same time. I read it on a flight home after a family vacation and I honestly didn’t want the book to be over. Within the first few pages I was asking my husband for a highlighter from his backpack because there was just too much good that I needed to highlight and go back to again. Recommending this to all of my girlfriends!

Practical, Biblical and Real
I bought this book for myself,,, a working married mom of 5 kids. It felt good to know I wasn't alone in my struggles. Kirsten gives such practical encouragements that are easy to inject in everyday life such asBreath. Sounds like a no brainer but I started paying attention to how often throughout the day I hold my breath and my stress in. It is written in such a gracious non judgmental way that it's almost impossible not to feel a connection with the author.
