First one came in broken but the company was quick to replace it. The within two months both of my planters broke and again the company was quick to replace them. Customer service is amazing, but these are fragile systems. My plants grow like crazy! I’ve got 3 foot tomato plants in under two months. I have herbs growing like weeds. It’s a phenomenal system but I wish it were sturdier.

I received my hydroponic growing system a week ago and set it up immediately. It was a fairly quick and simple set up. I do wish there was more detailed information on growing hydroponically for first-time users but the internet worked just as well as a source for that.I have a beautiful garden outdoors but in the summer it is just too hot to work in it. I’ve been wanting to begin growing indoors and I’m excited to see what this system can do. It’s been 7 days and I’ve already got sprouts in most of my pods.So far my only issue has been that the timer seems to be off. The literature says it’s 16 hours on, 8 hours off for the vegetable setting. However, mine seems to be shutting off after around 12-14 hours. So far it hasn’t seemed to negatively impact the growth of my seedlings.

I bought this because I do not have a green thumb and was looking for anything that might keep a plant alive… it worked! It worked so well I bought a second one! I now have a nice supply of lettuce and herbs growing constantly.The unit itself is minimalistic and sleek. It doesn’t take over my whole counter and can sit flush against the wall. My cupboards are higher than most, but even with the light fully extended I still have plenty of room.It comes with all the things I needed to start, except seeds, and makes it easy to understand instructions for feeding and growing. I haven’t messed around much with the different growing settings but I’m sure it’s just as easy and effective as the rest of the product has been.The light has an on for x amount of time, off for x. I’m sure if still had the instructions i could find out how long each cycle is, and sometimes I feel like it turns on earlier and earlier. Eventually I turn it off and back on again at a decent hour, but that’s the only thing that I don’t thoroughly love about this cute little grower.

Have had it less than a year and the pump went out. It no longer works. I can hear the motor running, but it doesn't move or stir the water any longer. Just "hums". Since the motor isn't working, the seed pods get moldy quickly and basically the unit is worthless.

I love the item but the power pack quit working after only 11 months. Very unhappy since i had tomatoes growing in it

bought this to grow herbs, when it was going it works great, followed the directions, cleaned it stocked it and more. then after 3 1/2 months the cable and connections started to short out and starts beeping, lights dont come on some days, irregular timing, you turn it off then it comes back on 20 minutes later and stays on. keeps shorting out and now doesnt work anymore at all. of course you cant get ahold of the company to let them know, so know im out 60$ for 3 months of product. gonna have to look elsewhere for a more reliable company and product

UPDATE: I got contacted by the company twice to take down this review in exchange for a $20 amazon gift card. Also, I have since emptied out a round of plants and cleaned the unit, and yes it was easy. I still use the unit, and I still have to adjust the lights every few days. Sigh. Beware the overly inflated star rating.I am an experienced outdoor gardener but this is my first indoor hydroponic setup. There are things to like and dislike about this model.Likes: The appearance is nice. The price is cheap and the sponge refills are too. The water circulating pump is pretty quiet. I like that you use your own seeds, but it was a little unclear to me if I was putting the seeds in there correctly, and some of them did not germinate I think due to this. I haven't yet cleaned the unit so can't comment on that, but it's probably pretty easy. The light is SO BRIGHT. I initially put it in my kitchen, but it was hurting my eyes and I had to move it to the bathroom.Dislikes: The instructions for setup are not the clearest. I had to definitely sit down with it for a while. I'm not sure what happens when the plant food that's included runs out, there seems to be some complicated math for using your own fertilizer. The most annoying thing by far is the timer that's on the light. It says its supposed to be 16 hours on and 8 hours off. It's not 16, probably more like 12 or 14, but I think it's different every day. It comes on slightly earlier every day for me, except today when I had to turn it on manually. It's annoying because I keep having to reset it manually. Yes, the plants are growing in most of the wells, but I have to think about it every day.All in all, I'd probably exchange it if I could but I threw out the box. Company, if you are listening, what do I do?

I have 2 aerogardens and was looking for a cheaper alternative. I do not have a lot of space to do a full hydroponic set up. So far so good. Everything was easy to set up and mix the plant food. I had germination almost over night for several of my seeds. I could not find how often to add plant food so I will be timing it with my aerogardens that are already set up.
